We are super happy we purchased this. As we age things get a little harder to do, of course and get a little more tiring. It is always easier camping when our grandson goes, he does all the hard stuff. But he has gotten a job and married, so we are going alone more often and decided to purchase one of these. Best thing we have bought in a while. I included several pictures. First just showing the buttons on the front. power and up and down-that is it. The second is my hubs installing it and this took less than half an hour and that includes the whole job-taking the manual jack off and installing this one. This was a super easy job, matched up easily and perfectly. Very heavy so it definitely ought to be pretty durable. It had just bare wires on the end of this to hook up to your battery and my hubs did not want to do things that way, but this is just his preference. He wanted it easier and not to have to twist on those wires every fall when he takes the battery off the camper, so he purchased battery hooks for it, but this did not have to be done, just what he wanted. Since the next is not a video, you cannot see the action, but it is of the jack doing its job. And it does it well. It does not go extremely quick, but it isn't going to, it is lifting over 3000 pounds. It does a fine job and is better than us doing it, for sure. This also comes with a waterproof cover and that is what is in the last picture, and it shows that it is waterproof, there are raindrops on it, and it had been raining a couple days off and on. Great product, great setup, cannot go wrong. Decent price. Now, as long as it lasts a long time, we will be way more than happy. 5+ stars!!! ... show more

Works very well although kind of slow. My tongue weight is about 800lb plus I use a weight distributing hitch. It will easily lift the rear of my loaded 3/4 ton pickup to hook up the hitch torsion bars. The gearing makes it run slower. Installing the jack takes under 15 min. How long it takes to run the wires is variable according to your battery setup. Mine was easy and only required putting a wiring ring on each one and attaching to the battery. It has a fuse in the hot wire so nothing needs to be done with that. It didn't turn on when I 1st tried it. The fuse wasn't installed in the holder. It was under the rain cover on the holder so it needed to be stuck in the slots. ... show more

Replaced original jack on 11 year old Rockwood travel trailer. Mounting holes matched well. Wiring was a little different but fairly easy to figure out. Seems to work as quickly and as well as the original did when it was new. The included protective cover was a big plus.

I ordered this 4000lb electric jack for my camper. It took forever to get here and when I got it, the bottom of the box was ripped apart, and the jack was sticking out of the box. I installed it on my camper and it works great, even though the light does not work.

Purchased a few months ago and installed on my trailer. The multiple hole patterns drilled on the flange was handy, I was able to install it 90 degrees from standard (with controls facing the right side of the trailer/vehicle) and this allowed my pickup tailgate to open without hitting the jack. Unfortunately the jack screw on the jack broke the first weekend I operated it! Not only did I have the frustration and inconvenience of having broken this item for which I had just recently installed, but I had to uninstall it in the field where it had broken due to not having a way of retracting the broken jack screw so that I could drive home. I had forgotten about the episode until I tripped over the broken jack this weekend in my shed, and this reminded me to post a review and warn everyone to steer clear of this jack. I bought based on the favorable reviews but I'd urge potential buyers to steer clear! ... show more
