What I like most about this mattress is the firm support it delivers without feeling hard or uncomfortable. I tried it for a few days myself and it seemed to help relieve some of the lower back pain I had been experiencing. Pediatricians recommend a mattress on the firmer side for your child’s development, so I am happy that I found an affordable option! The mattress itself is 12 inches thick. It’s a hybrid, so it has coils, not just memory foam which I like. In my experience, “memory foam only” mattresses seem to sink in easily in, so I am hopeful that this mattress will last for a long time. It was a bit squished in shipping and took a few days to expand properly. My advice, be very careful opening the box! After cutting the box, the mattress sprung out and almost knocked me over. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and affordability of this mattress, and I would order it again.

You will be amazed how small the packaging is that this came in. It is heavy though, and when you unbox and cut the plastic wrap, this mattress expands into a gorgeous full size mattress. I love firmness of and beautiful nights sleep I got last night. This mattress inspired me to buy new bed frame and headboard to compliment the beauty of this. Some pointers when opening. When you remove the rolled up mattress from the box, place the mattress on your box spring or frame. Then be sure to use the included cutting tool that is especially made for cutting the plastic. Because once you start cutting the plastic, the mattress will expand like magic! If you have children, be sure they are they to see what happens. It was quite fun! I am very happy with this mattress, and know you will be too!

This came in the mail as a package much smaller than expected. The mattress itself was rolled up and tightly compressed in plastic. I placed it on the bed platform and cut the plastic. After sitting for 24 hours there weren't any lingering odors, and I was able to test it. Laying on it for the first time like heaven. Of course, I'm used to my old mattress which is 7 or so years old. So time will tell, but it does seem firm and supportive in the hip area. It's also firm enough to rest comfortably on my front side. I'm happy with it.
