Size: Twin Color: 25 - Burgundy Number of Items: 1
This looks a different color in person than it does in the photo advertising it, but it’s still pretty. The shade is more of a brownish burgundy than a purplish burgundy. It laundered well on a delicate wash cycle and a medium drying cycle. This type of fabric might pill after frequent washings. I bought it to use as a temporary daybed cover while I decide whether to take my pretty daybed apart or leave it alone to keep looking pretty. The sheet looks surprisingly good as a daybed cover. Most haven’t. It looks good with black or white and would probably blend in with most colors. The fabric has a dull type of finish that isn’t at all shiny or velvety. It contrasts with velvety throw pillows, but doesn’t look bad. It blends nicely with non-velvety throw pillows and looks good with a blanket type throw having a pattern with the same shade of burgundy in it. You could make it work in any room if you used accents with the same shade. Burgundy is a blendy color. I use somewhere in every room because it creates a feeling of nature, like pretty roses or fall leaves. This sheet fits a twin mattress very well if tucked underneath all the way around. It appears to be designed to fit thicker mattresses, but it could probably be tucked to fit a thinner one. The seams look decent for use as a daybed cover. It’s also possible to use a pretty blanket over a pretty sheet for a daybed cover to make a daybed look more like a sofa. Regular throw pillows look best with this method and you can arrange as many as you want in any position you want. I don’t like sleeping on microfiber sheets made of polyester because I have really long hair and it gets horribly tangled when rubbing against certain fabrics. If I didn’t have that problem, I would love being able to sleep on a soft sheet like this. It feels comforting against the skin. This type of fabric is usually warmer than cotton. It doesn’t allow the air flow that cotton does. Many soft feeling winter coats are made of fabrics like this. You can use just the fabric for other purposes, like covering old seats of wood dining chairs. Women who sew would be able to create all sorts of things with just the fabric alone. Using one on a daybed and more for sewing matching or coordinating things in the same room would be a great way to save money! ... show more

    • CGK Bedding Gets a "Clean Sheet"

Normally the closest I wanna get to any microfiber cloth, is when using one to polish my car, as I avoid synthetic materials for the most part when possible in choosing clothing, let alone being wrapped-up in sheets for eight hours at a time. However, I must say I was extremely pleasantly surprised when I replaced my torn fitted bedsheet last week with this "CGK": way softer than I anticipated over the average moderately-priced medium thread-count cotton/percale sheet and no thinner than I experienced in this price range (in fact, no complaints here at all regardless of price!). Most importantly I did not sleep hot or sweaty as often you get with synthetics. I always order one size up on sheets (ie queen on a full bed) as I, like most people, hate fussing with fitted sheets while breaking my back lifting-up the mattress trying to stuff in the always tight corners. Ok, here is one absolutely pinnacle feature that I have never encountered before, and that is the prominent label attached on the middle of one end stating "top" or "bottom"; I can't think of the number of times I have rotated a fitted sheet around and around and around before getting the sides of the sheet properly aligned to their respective sides. The seam stitching and elastic is quality and wrinkle-free straight out of the dryer. Seriously, at this great price, these are as comfortable as any fitted sheet I have purchased over the years and when it comes time to replace others, this will be my first stop! ... show more

Color is accurate as shown, material feels relatively smooth/ soft. The biggest issue is how thin the material is. After the first time I washed it and put it on my mattress, you can see through the fabric and see the pattern on the mattress. I have had the worst luck finding fitted sheets that aren't too loose and come off the corners after a night of sleep. This fitted sheet fit my 16" mattress PERFECTLY without any annoying extra material. And the texture is soft and comfy. I will likely buy several more!
