I had a very bad experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went way out of their way to make me happy. They sent me a brand new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to go the trouble of sending the old leaky one back either. They were super apologetic and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a few times since the trail ride and it was just fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am pretty sure that I won’t have the same problems as what I had last year. I would recommend King Koil for their super customer service. The beds are very very comfortable and if there is a problem contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur complaints pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more important than the product. So if ur looking for a very comfy air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I highly recommend King Koil. They treated me like roayalty. This had to be the worst purchase that I have ever made through Amazon. I am so disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was excellent but it took up too much room so I was delighted when this thing was delivered. I did everything that the instructions told me to do, I filled it, which was super slick. I left it up for a couple of days like they suggested so it could stretch. They said that it would go a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and packed it away for my week long trail ride and camp out. I packed it in my vehicle and was super excited to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I used an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam pad and a huge and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets extremely cold if you don't put it on top of something to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was so comfortable, until the morning. It had gone very soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week wore on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was extremely stiff from the way that it had me encapsulated. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very last night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this horrid thing, it was getting worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and very comfy. At 3 am, my feet were way up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I gathered up all of my blankets and went to my SUV to see if I could get some sleep. No good, it was totally against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the totally deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I finally got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this thing again.. I did my research.. this was supposed to be just awesome.. well, its total junk and I am now going to contact the company.. If I could give it no stars, I would.. I am so tired.. and my vacation/trail ride was ruined ... show more

It's a great tall mattress!! The pillow type top, I'd get rid of. People who are tall want the textra two? Feet!! Orherwise you are sleeping sideways. It's not very comfortable for anyone. The " ribs" are hard! You kind of get stuck in between them. It might keep you from rolling over? Like for folks who SNORRRR all night. I like how it's high enough to just get right off!! You don't have to struggle getting off. That's a plus. I bought this air mattress years ago, like 8 or so. My son and his pregnant wife used it, then my daughter for a year!! Then my son for over a year( he thought it was firmly enough but hurt his back) needless to say you changed the design! The big indents make it almost impossible to get a good, even nights rest. Please I'm begging you go back to the one you had 10? Years ago. It last forever! Unfortunately my kids left it at my last apartment when i moved 8 years ago and it disappeared overnight🙄 This one had a hole in a small spot on top that can't be fixed with a patch.. Unfortunately my window was closed with my first one i bought when visiting my grandkids and i blame amazon Good luck!! It's wonderful for guest or grandkids if you put a topper on it. Oh, ps AMAZOM..if you want is to pack it up with the original box, your joking. After the 10th try to pack and repack. It went to ups with the box all messed up. I don't have a machine that deflates and suxs the air out like the factory does. Spending 20 bucks to have ups repack it is ridiculous!! ... show more

I ordered a full size 20" high air mattress. Love that height, so I don't have to get up from the floor! I set it up for 2 days in order inflate it according to instructions, made sure it worked properly, with no leaks or problems; I deflated it and inflated it again to be sure. I then took it on the trip I was going on and used it for 3 nights in a relative's home. It held up great, there was no need to add anymore air once I got it to the firmness I needed. I'm happy about the purchase and hope I get several years of use from it. It won't be something I use a lot, maybe a few nights each year. It's still an air mattress and I'm a light sleeper, but it was actually pretty good the 3 nights I slept on it. ... show more

I haven’t slept on an air mattress in probably 30 years but I needed one so I tried this one out. Reviews are spot on. It’s really fantastic! Inflation is FAST and so is deflating it. It’s a little loud when the pump is running but it’s over in less that 2 min! I put a mattress topper on this and then the sheets… I never once felt like I was sleeping on cold air. It does make a little noise when you move but that’s to be expected. It’s plastic. It’s nothing really to worry about. I highly recommend this!!! It stay inflated for the most part. You may need to top up the air after day two or three of sleeping on it. I would definitely buy this again and I would let my most loved people sleep on it without feeling guilty at all! ... show more

We ordered this in a queen size. It works great. Inflation and deflation is easy and works well. After about 6 uses, it would not hold air. Not sure why. BUT, I notified the manufacturer of the problem and I could not have been more happy with their responses. They stood by their one year warranty and kept constant communication with me for the replacement of the mattress. I received my new mattress within a week and a half. I know, sometimes things happen with purchases, but you can feel confident with this company to do right by you! ... show more
