Returning a second one that arrived in used condition. I REALLY wanted to try this but twice a used product was delivered. I’m sad.

I loved the idea of Kimuse Color-Changing foundation. I have medium olive (sometimes tan) skin and I could never find a foundation match that fit perfectly when I was younger. A color changing foundation was a little thrilling. It took a lot of practice to use this properly. The first time, I applied too much foundation, creating the appearance of unblended sunscreen. I used the thick, firm brush on the opposite end to try and blend it all in and ended up sweeping all of the foundation away. It is winter here and my cheeks are bright red from the cold. My red face actually helps me evaluate the foundation. I want to see the redness covered up but still have a natural finish. I had better luck on my second try with the foundation. I applied a thin layer on my cheeks and blended with a light stippling brush. I added more foundation where it was needed and blended with my fingers. The redness in my cheeks was covered up but my skin still had a pale white cast. I added bronzer and blush to my cheeks and everything looked more natural. The objective, however, was to evaluate the foundation on its own. I took away one star because it still left a white cast on my skin. I hope this product continues to be developed to accommodate darker skin tones.
