I was honestly skeptical at first, but this foundation totally surprised me! It comes out white, and as soon as I started blending it in, it adapted perfectly to my skin tone. I have combination skin, and this held up really well throughout the day without getting greasy or patchy. Plus, it didn’t settle into fine lines or dry patches, which is a huge win for me. Incredible and practical! I loved this foundation, it is light but perfectly covers all imperfections. The best thing is that it adapts to the tone of my skin, leaving a natural and uniform finish without feeling it heavy. It lasts all day without the need for touch-ups, even in hot climates. I was pleasantly surprised by this Color Changing Foundation. One of my favorite design details is the twist-top dispenser—it opens and closes securely, which is such a plus for me since I often misplace separate caps on other products. The formula itself has a light, pleasant fragrance that isn’t overwhelming and fades quickly after application. Coverage is pretty decent—while it’s not an exact skin tone match, it does a nice job of evening out my complexion without feeling heavy or cakey. I’d describe it as a good everyday option if you want a natural look with some coverage. The texture blends in smoothly, and I like that it contains hydrating ingredients like glycerin and sodium hyaluronate. I also appreciate that it wears well throughout the day. Listen Bestie, it’s just not a good match for me. It’s a great concept that failed in execution. The design of the top is so unique and cool. It does this cool 180 twist to open and close. After dispensing some foundation on the back of my hand, I was shocked by the white liquid. Upon further inspection, there were tiny nude beads in it (that’s how the foundation gets it color). -The consistency resembles sunscreen. It’s chalky, rough, and sticky. It never “melted” into my skin. After letting it set for 20mins, it felt like my skin never fully absorbed it. Instead it left that film like sunscreen does. I’m not pasty but it made me look ghostly. It’s hard to blend it out entirely. - The coverage is okay. Listen, I have pretty decent skin. Don’t really breakout or have major flaws I’m trying to cover-up. I’m not a full-faced makeup gal. However, I do wear foundation to balance out my skin tone and to cover up my dark circles. Even then this foundation didn’t cover up my “imperfections”. Instead, it made my skin look cakey, dry, and dull. - It has fragrance and boy does it smell lovely. My skin and I don’t mind it all. But if you’re sensitive to that I would avoid it. -It was stubborn to wash off. There was leftover foundation on my face even after my 2 step cleansing routine. I don’t experience residue with my drugstore foundation. I wanted to love it so bad! Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver and will not be switching for my everyday use. I might keep it for water activities. I’ll try it again at the beach this upcoming weekend and update my review.

The formula itself is beautiful, it looked great on my skin, so I really wished it had worked out. However, the palest shade is too dark for my fair skin, I could maybe get away with it if I let myself get a tan, and I'm not the palest of the pale folks out there. I'm definitely super fair, but if a brand has an extensive range, I'm not the lightest color anymore, for instance About Face's shade in F2Olive is slightly too dark for me but the perfect undertone/overtone, and their lightest neutral shade is too light. But products like these still tend to not work on me, I don't think I've used one that hasn't turned out to be too dark. It's a shame, but I'll try to see if it mixes well with shades too light for me or with the shade adjuster I have... I'm not sure if these type of "color changing" foundations work well with shade adjusters or other foundations.
