Description

A serial killer has a plan...and Ingrid is part of it. A banker is found dead at his desk in the City of London. Then a heavily tattooed body washes up in the Thames. Now someone is after Ingrid. At first these crimes seem unrelated, but they are all the work of an audacious serial killer working on both sides of the Atlantic. Special Agent Ingrid Skyberg, the FBI’s criminal investigator in London, is one of the toughest agents ever to come out of Quantico. She’s resilient, resourceful and a bit of a renegade, but she’s never been tested like this before. With no help from her colleagues at the US embassy, Ingrid is running out of time to unmask the killer before he strikes again. But she can only do that if she can stay alive. Unlock the thrills and twists of this up-all-night thriller series, perfect for for fans of LT Vargus, Blake Pierce and Willow Rose. _____________ Kill Plan is the 2nd book in the Ingrid Skyberg thriller series, but the novels can be read in any order. _____________ PRAISE FOR EVA HUDSON"I was immediately struck by the plotting savvy and grip-factor of Eva Hudson's writing – she is a natural storyteller" - Sophie Hannah"Ingrid is a fascinating character" - James Oswald"Gripped me from the first page" - DS Butler Read more

  • Kill Plan (Ingrid Skyberg FBI Thrillers bk 2)
I read Eva Hudson for the first time with the first book in this series, Fresh Doubt, it was great, her writing brings you in and carries you along with the characters. Drama, suspense, twists and turns that keep you wanting more, it's all here. Hopefully we won't have to wait long to get another exciting journey in Ingrid`s FBI career. Love her she's smart, funny, determined, and tough as nails and her friend Natasha , she's to the point, funny and a friend you would love to have. Exciting story, wonderful characters, leaves you wanting more, what more could we want. Great Job Eva!!! ... show more

  • Keeps you mentally moving at a trot, if not breathless....
Better than Book 1, I enjoyed the plot here more. It had more of an intensity and possibility than the first book's. I'm beginning to wonder why the author needed to make her protagonist an FBI agent, though. I have a theory, but hope I'm wrong: Maybe it resonates more with UK audiences to have potential bad guys originating from across the pond? Consider the videocams posted all around London. That's happening here too, but they're not as ubiquitous. Consider MI5 v. FBI or MI6 v. CIA. Except for bureaucratic details, I'd guess you're just as likely to have bad eggs in either one of those pairs. Here it smacks as a little too convenient to focus on external rather than internal police problems and bad guys. However, this might only mean that the UK audience is fascinated by goings-on across the pond. Who knows? (I'm willing to discuss this with the author via email, by the way.) On the whole, though, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'd give it a 4.4, but this pesky ranking system forces me to round. Things moved along fine. The antagonist's attack on the protagonist right after she finally moves in to a new apartment was a nice touch. And, by the way, this protagonist is another example of a strong, female character, a trend in modern fiction (reflecting the fact that most of the reading audience is female?--here males spend free time watching American football; in the UK they watch rugby and soccer). As far as I'm concerned, women should rule the world because then we'd probably need fewer MI's-whatever and FBI/CIAs and suffer through fewer wars. (This author and I would have to find something else to write about then!) ... show more

  • another great one! love the series
Ingrid is determined. This is not her case and isn’t even a case when she starts out. Fast paced, she is following up on the murder of a trader who dies after washing his hands in the bathroom. We meet her fiancé when he comes to London. He should have stayed home for his well being. Loser! Looking forward to the next in the series!! ... show more

  • A good mystery
This is a good read. Not so intense you can't put it down but interesting enough to keep you going. It's a good mystery. I'd recommend it.

  • ANOTHER GREAT HIT!
This is the second book I have read by Eva Hudson and really love her work! The story lines are suspenseful and your attention never wavors. She does a great job with character development - they are interesting, believable, and a bit quirky. The "Kill Plan" had a couple of twists that I didn't expect at all! I love the cover on this book. I think it is beautiful. ... show more

  • kill plan by Eva Hudson
I really like this author and have done since I read The Loyal Servant. I liked it - the pace is good, the story line interesting and the characters real. I especially like the way she portrayed Marshall - pompous and paternalistic. I read this book very quickly and enjoyed it very much. Maureen Rowland-aitken Johannesburg South Africa ... show more

  • Good pace, and engaged me quickly in the story
Good pace, and engaged me quickly in the story. Good as a stand alone story, better as an installment in a series. I prefer series where I come to know the characters and follow them through their experiences. I also appreciate books where the principle plot concludes in that book. I just read a book that was available for free, but the book ended right at the critical juncture, seemingly intended to force you to buy the next book to find out what happened. I refuse on principle. However, with Detective Skyber, I bought this 2 nd installment, and I will buy the next one as well. ... show more

  • Exciting and fun to read.
An easy book to read. - A couple of typo's but I am on Kindle so cannot say the pages. Was angry with Ingrid for not standing up to Marshall - but it ended well with her in charge. I could have done with a little less description as Ingrid was running over to save Sol - I have to say I skipped some of those pages. I enjoy the characters in general - so I enjoy the book. This book has excitement and fun - so I recommend it to other readers. ... show more
