I purchased this mat for my 1yr old nephew's birthday. It has Nice volume, very colorful and with lots of options. He was just learning to walk as he surprised himself making tunes with every step. This mat definitely kept him occupied as He also rolled and crawled back and forth making all kinds of sounds. Good choice.

My son (16 months) loves this as I knew he would. I couldn’t wait for this gift to be opened on Christmas Day! It’s loud to start but the volume can be changed. Now what I can’t speak on are all of the options. I know reading is fundamental but I haven’t read the instructions. I just popped some batteries in and let my toddler stomp around. I noticed the volume and that the instrument can be changed. I haven’t explored any other settings/options. The quality seems fine/good enough. It does look like it could tear with the wrong thing dropping on it. Feet seem fine but I probably would make a habit of hopping on with shoes. I wouldn’t suggest it for bigger kids either. The keys are fairly skinny and again I wouldn’t test it’s durability. We did spill some juice on it and it didn’t harm it, but it wasn’t spilled on the control box. So you might want to watch out for that, because water there would definitely be an issue.

I bought this for my 4 year old nephew and he LOVES it. He's pretty rough with things and breaks things quickly, but he's had it for about 2 months now and it's held up really well. He runs on it, jumps on it uses it as a makeshift tent, jumps on the black base and it still works like new. Super easy to clean with a lightly damp cloth too.
