Edited to add the seller reached out to me and offered to send another item. They wound up sending a completely different two person bike and it was as equally hard to put together even though it was a different one. I was hoping the directions would be better this time, but it was basically exactly the same. I really hoped for better with this item. While it's constructed pretty well there's definitely some issues as far as construction and assembling. I read other reviews that said they didn't get directions, well I did receive directions but they were so confusing and really horribly written. It took FOREVER to assemble and figure out what they were describing in the directions. Some parts didn't fit that well and I couldn't get the seat on tight enough so I just left it as is. I think for the price they definitely need to make some improvements. That being said my kids do really like it.
