The piano itself is cute and works well so far.. it's a toy, super light plastic. The microphone pretty much does nothing so keep that in mind. My 2.5 year old likes it.

Do not purchase based on photos. The photos are not accurate of what you're getting. They make it look like a decent sized keyboard but it's not. Someone else posted a photo of it and you can see how small it truly is. It was my fault for not reading dimensions and ordering based off of the photo the seller provided, which is very clearly photoshopped to make you think you're getting a bigger keyboard. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Yes yes, this is a "kids" toy, but us adults can enjoy it too. With a decent sized keyboard, and 8 different instruments, and the ability to record notes, you can make real music with this "toy". The keyboard comes with a small microphone, speaking through it brings your voice to the keyboard's speakers, amplified. Don't bother with it, throw it out, it sounds terrible, it breaks up/disconnects and just has a terrible connection that doesn't work much at all. Throw out the mic, use your own if you still want one, it's a standard 3.5mm jack. Power is through 3xAA batteries, OR, Micro USB input. You can't charge batteries using USB so don't bother installing rechargeable for that. I tried running the keyboard from a USB battery pack but it kept powering itself off, it doesn't look like the keyboard is very smart with it's power management and will only work with a bog standard 5v USB charger, which isn't included. THERE IS NO HEADPHONE JACK on this thing, which really restricts how you can use it without disturbing others. If you give this to your kid, you'll be hearing it every day until you give them something else. ... show more
