I bought this watch as a Christmas Gift for my 8 year old Grand Daughter. Once received, I charged it and then set the time. Turned it off, put back into its package and then upon Christmas Eve I took it out of its package and tried to turn it on. It had no power. I had to recharge the watch. Then once charged, I could not reset the incorrect time. It lost the time setting due to the power loss when it sat for 2 months in the OFF position. This time in trying to get to the time setting feature, I can only get to the Wake Up setting. Please note that this watch has never been used and sat in its box for 2 months waiting for Christmas Eve to wrap as a present. IF YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT YOUR WASTING YOUR MONEY!

My kids love these (5 & 8yrs). The games are fun and they can't get enough of the step tracking for some reason. Only problem is that they got sprayed with a tiny bit water and the watch fogged up immediately. It's ok after sitting overnight in rice, but absolutely no water resistance is kind of challenging for any kid gear. Update: the camera, video recorder, sound, and 90% of the games just stopped working after 5 months.

I know this smart watch was labeled as girls, probably because it’s lavender, but my 8 yr old son actually mentioned he really liked the color and could he have it? I said yes, even though I had originally picked it out for my 6 yr old daughter, because I recently purchased my 4 yr old daughter an lol doll smart watch. Anyway, the watch was well packaged, well made, and seems like it will last with a rough and tumble young boy wearing it. The instructions were a little bit lacking for me. I found them not very concise, and the English seemed to be poorly translated in some spots. Therefore, I couldn’t figure out how to get into the menu for the longest time. It ended up frustrating me, because I normally don’t ever have any issues with technology. However, once I gave to my son, he immediately went into the menu. I’ll blame my lack of success on tired mom brain, or distractions. I was very satisfied though, with my son being successful in its operation though. After all, I purchased it for my children. My son couldn’t stop with the excitement or the compliments of this smart watch, and he thoroughly enjoyed the games, pedometer and calorie burn estimator. I really like this low cost option for a decent smart watch for my child, yes, I wasn’t fond of the instructions, but I gave this five starts, because my son didn’t need the instructions, and he thought it was perfect for a smart watch. Having said that, it’a a gift-able item, and I would purchase another one! Overall, great purchase and we are happy!

The color sure is little girl purple. The screen has a protective film of some sort (Not the shipping cover meant to be removed) which has a couple of air bubbles in it. For a kids screen I think the bubbles are better than not having any kind of scratch protection on the screen. Besides, often these work themselves out as the device is used. The included instructions are much more comprehensive than I had expected. And the English instructions were put together by someone who is an English as first language speaker. As with any electronic device or toy, make sure you charge the thing before using it. The removable screen cover indicates to charge for 2 hours before using the watch. This is a good idea to follow for this or any similar powered device. The packaging has kid friendly graphics and a protective sleeve which is formed to hold the watch secure with enough space for a micro-USB charging cord. Overall, this is a nice introduction watch for a child. Note: they say at least 3 years old. The watch band is soft and pliable and yet seems pretty durable. The band is long enough it should allow plenty of growth time.
