Color: Green
Son loves it! A great introduction to a troddler and has lots of fun sounds and buttons. Holds up to him throwing it around and it has decent sound.

  • Perhaps entry level musician. Definitely perfect for annoying people and freaking out pets
Color: Purple
Annoying I am. Musician, not so much. Splitting the difference here with a solid 4 stars. The annoyance potential itself here, is over the top 5 stars. By a musician's standards, its likely a 3 at best. Then there's a (pun intended) major minor issue with the (again pun intended) AC/DC/USB power cord and the poor instructions. This runs off 3, not included Aa batteries (pun..?), seemingly fine, as designed. What mine doesn't seem to do, is run off my, as suggested, cellphone fast charger, which I included an image of for specific comparison to mfg recommendation. Out of the box, its feather-lite. On one hand, it feels sort of cheap. On the other hand, if it's thrown, dropped, or pounded with, it will break b4 it breaks anything. First thing I did was plug it in to my fast charger cable. Nothing. Zero power. No internal rechargeable battery. I then installed fresh standard AA batteries. Turns on and operates. I fiddled around with it. Pun upon pun lol..its sort of addictive, both fiddling around and noting puns. Being clinically diagnosed with Add, AdHd and everything else "on the spectrum", I can honestly say this little musical keyboard thingy is therapeutic/sensory/fidget (blah blah blah) worthy. 30 minutes later and I had my kittens giving me the stink eye. Additional observations. The power button is really easy to bump on and off. No slide. Push button in=on, Push button again=off. Its quirky. The dog, frog, duck, and bird buttons don't operate in all modes and demos. This records though it doesn't seem to record the dog/frog/duck/birds and their 4 alternative sounds. The record play has one "jingle" function. No overdubbing or whatever it is that those amazing and modern, 1 person band artists perform. It seems that in some if not all cases, the ability to push the buttons to make more than 1 sound at a time, isn't possible. The sounds are not crisp and clear, as well, not realistic, but they are good enough for a toy type instrument. The good news is, the 3 batteries I installed are running strong after the 30 minute trial along with having it turn on unintentionally, off and on for several hours from accidentally setting something on it which turned it on. The greatest downside I can see, as far as the batteries go, is that if this is set down someplace with the batteries installed (like a table, shelf or in a toy box), and anything set on it triggers the power on button, it will likely eat the batteries. If stored with the batteries, powering on and draining the batteries could cause internal corrosion ruining the instrument / toy. I'm happy with the purchase though I'm not happy with the cord power function not working. I'll likely have to rig it to run off a regulated/stepped down, Dewalt 20v battery which will allow me the ability to annoy the f out of people, mobile thus not requiring an a.c. outlet ... show more

  • Fun, affordable starter keyboard that encourages creativity
Color: Blue
This little 37-key electric keyboard is such a fun music toy for kids. I got it in blue, and my five-year-old son absolutely loves it. He’s on the autism spectrum and has low vision, so he’s really drawn to music and rhythm. It’s been perfect for helping him explore sound on his own. He experiments with the tones, drum beats, and animal sounds…and sometimes he even plays along with Kidz Bop videos on YouTube, trying to match the notes he hears. It’s really sweet to watch. The keyboard has a lot of functions for the price—19 demo songs, different rhythms and tones, percussion sounds, and even a little microphone. We don’t actually use the mic much because he doesn’t quite understand its purpose yet, but it does work! The whole setup feels sturdy and well made for a toy in this price range. If you’re wondering about the animal sounds, those are just buttons you press at the top—they don’t turn every key into an animal noise. My son mostly uses the drum rhythms and background tracks while he makes up his own melodies. It’s a great way to build coordination and focus, and it’s also nice screen-free entertainment. At around $15 after the 50% discount, it’s such a good deal for something that actually encourages rhythm, cause-and-effect, and confidence in young learners. Whether your child likes pressing buttons and hearing sounds or wants to start learning music, it’s a wonderful little starter keyboard. It’s also a perfect size for toddlers and younger kids. If you have an older child, this can still be a very affordable “tester” keyboard to see how interested they really are before spending more on a bigger one. It helps them get familiar with the basics and figure out what features they enjoy most (like rhythms, sound effects, or playing along with songs) so you’ll know what to look for in their next instrument. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... show more

  • Amazing Value for this Compact Beginner Piano!
Color: Purple
This is a great for my kids to try out piano! I expected the keys to feel super cheap and plasticky, but I am pleasantly surprised that this is nice quality and the keys have a "good bounce" to them. I appreciate that I can use batteries (rechargeable batteries) so this instrument/toy can moved around throughout the house without limiting its usage to an outlet closeby. It does come with a charger, if you need it. In terms of functionality, it is not "mini toy size" but big enough with 37 keys for it to function like a regular keyboard. It's light and small to store away in the closet when not in use. The sound quality is nice and my kids also love the different demos, animal sounds, and rhythms AND the mic. I cannot get my toddler to stop singing into the mic! For this price, I think it is a great value to introduce the little ones to a piano without spending too much. I highly recommend! ... show more
