This is a nice jacket to protect the chest and arms when riding motorcycles, ATVs, Motocross or anything else. It has a mesh jacket that is covered with extra material and thick plates. The pads are on the chest, elbows, shoulders and down the spine. It seems durable and like it would be another great layer of protection. I got this for my grandson and it is to small. Pro's: - Breathable - feels like it will protect - Lightweight Con's - I went a size up and the belly strap seems a little too snug. Overall: I am very please with this protective suit. I haven't had to test it with a fall, but the materials feel sturdy. My daughter grabs this right away when we talk about going for a motorcycle ride. It makes her feel comfortable and safe.     • High quality armor. Essential gear.
This body armor is about as essential as a helmet for safety. It works great. My son has come off his bike wearing this gear and it protected him well. He finds it comfortable to wear. No complaints so far. The only thing is, this jacket will likely not be comfortable to wear in summer. Though, it does have breathable mesh which helps. I love that it has both back and chest protection. It's great that the elbow and shoulder pads are built in, so only need to wear knee pads with this jacket. It's very user friendly with the velcro design. The zipper works efficiently. Overall, it's a terrific jacket that provides excellent protection. My grandson is a very active 9-year-old. He bikes, skates, plays ball and is a real rough-and-tumble boy. I thought he would like this to wear while riding his electric scooter or his bike on the off-road trails. This is a nice set of quality protective gear. The fabric feels strong and there are adjustment points to help with fit. My grandson is almost 7 and this fits him like a glove. The pads should be able to take a beating and help protect his elbows and shoulders from tree branches while riding the ATV through the woods. Good price point too. ... show more

This is a really nice product to keep our kid safe when he's riding his motorcycle. He's 12 years old now and this jacket is probably just a tad small, but usable for now. He's average size, probably just under 5' tall if that helps. He really loves the jacket and thinks its really "cool".
