These jackets are great, but be forewarned...the sizes run small. I usually wear a XL but that was too tight. I sent it back and got a 2XL. It is warm with the liner and will most likely work great with the liner out. This is my second jacket as I messed up the first one and ruined it...but not on the bike or a crash. Very good price for you you get with a fast shipper. Very happy with the second jacket or I would not have replaced the messed up jacket with the same exact jacket. I really like the large inside pocket as this is where I carry my weapon...big enough to carry a Smith & Wesson model 629 with a 6 inch barrel. My mini Uzi even fits. ... show more

Thankfully, I have not had to put this jacket to the test. Seems well made and is comfortable for late Spring thru early Fall. It's water resistant in a light rain if you get caught without your rain gear. There are several interior pockets to hold quite a bit. Functions as claimed so far. I like this jacket quite a bit. Lots of pockets, big ones inside. The jacket is well manufactured and is very comfortable. The inner waterproof liner is quilted and comfortable on the skin, and will probably do a good job of keeping the chill in Spring and Fall months. This is by no means a winter jacket. A lot of reviews stated the fit ran small and to order up one size. I usually run between large and XL depending on the manufacturer, so I ordered the XL. It wasn't even close to fitting me. It was baggy and the arms nearly covered my hands completely. It felt more like XXL or more. I could wrap the jacket around my waist with about 6 inches overlap. I have no idea if this is standard for XL or if I got one mislabeled. I sent it back ($9.95 return shipping) and ordered a large. I'm dubious as to whether this next one will fit better or not. ... show more

5 stars but haven't used it yet riding. I have a 44 inch chest, 36 in waist, shirts I buy a 17.5 inch neck with 37 inch sleeve. Weight 200 lbs., 6'2 36 in inseam. So, I order an XXL and love the fit. With outstretched arms another inch in arm length would not be horrible but not at all a deal breaker. The quality seems very good, and padding is a nice extra. The price seems very good for the quality and features. If I had paid $150 for the jacket, I still would not feel that it was too expensive. ... show more

    • Sized close to true - Return is a big hassle

Don't listen to the hype about needing to buy this jacket two sizes above your true size. At 6 foot, 230 lbs., 50" chest and 40" waist, I am normally a 2x, so I ordered a 4x. Big mistake! When it arrived it seemed about two sizes too big. The item was listed as free to return, but don't count on it. The only option for a free return was for me to drive over an hour out of state to drop it off. I am still waiting for Amazon to get back to me on other options! The jacket itself seems to be a acceptable quality for the $60 price - if it would fit, I would keep it. The color, which is very bright, is much more yellow than green if that matters to you, and the reflexive tabs look like they would be very bright at night. The pads do not feel like they will actually provide you much protection, but hey, it must be better than no pads, right. At this price you could buy some better ones to replace them POSITIVES: The jacket is made of a mesh that feels very sturdy and goes down the full arm for better air flow unlike other jackets which have solid material near the cuffs. The zippers are of adequate quality and the snaps hold securely. NEGATIVES: See sizing issues listed above. Also, I wanted this jacket as a one-season, for ultra hot riding, so I want maximum air flow. The jacket comes with multiple pockets covering almost the entire front of the jacket, that will not allow air to flow. In fact, they look like they may actually be waterproof. If I were to keep the jacket, I think I would cut them out. CURIOSITIES: The largest pocket says it is for concealed carry of a firearm and has two integrated loops; one for the pistol and one for a mag. I did not want to jacket for that, but for curiosity sake, I tried them out. In my opinion they are a joke and would not be useful for that purpose. OVERALL: If you want a inexpensive high-visibility mesh jacket that you will have to cut the pockets out of to enjoy, order your true size, and I think you will be happy. Even with some of its idiosyncrasies, as I said earlier, if it would fit I most likely would not return it. ... show more

Really nice riding jacket. I'm 6 ft 200 lb with a 38 waist got the 2X fits perfect and for the price cannot beat it nice pockets it is nice that you can adjust the sleeves and the waistband on it. After losing 75lbs I needed to "downsize" my riding jacket! This jacket fits perfectly, but lving in the PNW I will typically ride to work down to about 38°F, so I need a jacket that will block the wind/cold/light rain. This jacket is actually a mesh jacket suitable for warm summer riding. The zip out lining doesn't do a good job of blocking the wind. Even at 50° it isn't warm enough ... show more
