I got this for my niece's birthday. It's an ice set. Include a lot of different makeup. The glitter eyeshadow is definitely cheap. It falls all over the place. But what do you expect for a little girl makeup set.

Overall… great makeup kit for my six year old, the huge smile on her face said it all. The makeup actually showed up when applying, had staying power, and washed off with soap and water. Glitter was no fun on the eyes, dummy me forgot it was there and rubbed…ouch! The nail polish went on easily though the red was a bit goopy, dried fairly quickly, and peeled off so no need for any chemicals. My one complaint, and a really big one since this was the whole reason I got this kit, was the mirror. Because it was an applied piece of reflective mylar it was like looking into a funhouse mirror; distorted and wavy. Not what I expected. No bueno! and a definite let down.

Going to tell you the story of this... I had taken my 10 year old out to the mall... she hasn't been in one very much because the plague hit when she was 7 and then since school we have so little time to actually do anything that even if we do go to the mall it's "we're hitting this store and that and gotta get to so and so's birthday party" 10 year old discovered makeup stores. 10yo discovered the makeup she wanted was $45. I told her how these things work and the entire less expensive/but you're never sure what you're getting world of the internet. She sees this priced at less than half of one lipstick at the place she was looking and loves it. I order it. Two days later it's arrived, I'm walking out the door for something and see the package and put it in the house but I had to be somewhere without opening it up. Kids and wife were out doing yet another after school thing. I got back and my 8 year old is playing with the kit. 10yo had forgotten or is taking the high road since 8yo thinks I got it for her for her birthday party coming up in a couple of days. 8yo looks at me and said "daddy, I've never asked for makeup... how did you know?" with emotion almost overwhelming her... so yeah, that's the story of how I ordered two makeup kits in three days... As far as makeup is concerned - these appear to work, the kit is cool, the kids look fabulous...

This is such an adorable little first time kit! The makeup is somewhat pigmented, great for teaching the beginner MUA some control but still easy to clean off. It comes with a fun nails set too which really adds to the fun. My daughter is unhappy with the mirror quality, but I assured her that it's about the quality you should expect with a kids kit. Otherwise she does love her kit, the fact that it all folds up together and is in it's own little case it awesome. I definitely think it's a great price and within the price bracket for comparable items.

This is a fun kit as it not only includes different shades of eye shadow, but also nail polish, lipstick and so much more! My niece is 6 years old and loves anything and everything that is pink. She also loves make-up and nail polish or anything girlie girlie. When she spotted the makeup kit I ordered she had it open and unpacked so fast it made my head spin. She was laughing and screaming in glee as she tried everything in the kit. It is so incredibly cute. I do need to mention that I asked her parents before I let her play with it and they were fine with it because it's safe for kids. The colors are great, the makeup is easy to use and my 6 year old niece was so delighted that she played with it the entire time she was at my house. I gave it to her to take home because she looked sad that she might have to stop experimenting. This is worth every penny to make little girls giggle with glee. I highly recommend.
