These are not made for anyone with a high instep. They will not go on if you do. They are designed to slip on without any zippers or elastic to give in the tighter areas, and unfortunately, there is no way I could pry them over the instep.(Well, maybe if I could handle pain a bit better than I currently do, but why ?) On the plus side, they really are very nice looking boots, and the lining feels to my hand like they would've been heavenly if they'd managed to somehow make those last several inches. The furry lining is plush, and warm, and well padded. And my daughter also wears a similar size, so her lower instep feet are going to play Cinderella tomorrow and see if we can bring up the rating I've given them. She really has her father's feet, so she has nearly flat feet. If she can't wear them, we'll, that would be sad. But I'm hoping she will have a better report on them tomorrow afternoon. If it's good news, I'll be back to edit it into the review! (Fingers crossed)! EDIT: my daughter, she of the nearly flat feet, has fallen in love with these boots, and I have added another star to reflect that yes, people who don't have very high instep not only can get these boots on; they can do so and find them extremely warm, roomy and soft. My daughter particularly likes the fur and the deep cushioning effect it gives your steps while wearing the boots. I know she won't be out in the cold for snow boots now, and I'm impressed because it's usually so hard to impress her!

I’ll admit, I never thought this style of boot was attractive. But after hearing so many rave reviews, I decided to try them. Now I get it. Sliding into these boots feels like tucking your feet into the fluffiest lamb’s woolly little body. The lining completely cocoons your toes in warmth, and the design almost “sucks” your feet in so they feel hugged and secure. They’re so cozy that I didn’t even want to walk in them at first, just enjoy the comfort. But once I did, they were just as comfortable in motion: lightweight enough not to drag you down, but still sturdy with that reassuring boot feel that makes you unworried about where you step. The look is still plain to me, not the cutest, but I plan to protect the suede with spray because it would be a shame to dirty them. As for sizing, I ordered my usual boot size and they fit snugly in a good way. The fluffy interior replaces the need for thick socks. If you want room for heavier socks, I’d recommend going up half a size. Overall, these were a pleasant surprise. I’ll definitely be finding excuses to wear them all through fall and winter.

These boots are incredibly soft and comfortable! The texture on the outside feels high-quality, and the thick Sherpa lining makes them super warm and cozy for colder days. I love how plush the inside is — it’s like walking on clouds. That said, sizing can be a little tricky. I normally wear a size 9 in the popular 3-letter Sherpa boot brand, so I ordered a 9 in these. They definitely run smaller — about a half size smaller — likely because of the thick lining. I’d recommend sizing up for the perfect fit. Overall, they’re well-made, stylish, and very comfortable once you find your right size. A great buy if you want both warmth and comfort!

These are clouds that wrap around your feet!!! From the second I put these on, I was in love! The thick shearling lining not only cradles your foot in a solid fluff of comfort but it also custom conforms to your foot as you continue to wear them. The soles are rugged and have a solid amount of super dense foam to go through before they’d ever wear out (think flip flop sole times ten!!). One of my favorite features is that I can put these on without bending down or using my hands…although they do have a finger hook made of the same luxe suede as the rest of the boot on the back. They fall at a great height just above the ankle. For ladies with big feet like me, I’m an 11 and these SURPRISINGLY do not look like giant moon boots whatsoever!!! I’m not sure how they don’t but I love that! I honestly can’t wait til fall to get daily use out of these yummy boots!

I got these boots for whomever in my household might grow into them at some point, likely my son, who is about two sizes down right now. People wear these things very loose and he can probably slip into these during the few cold and wet days we have per year around here. I have seen people use these slip-on boots mainly to take dogs out for a walk, to head down to the beach, or to putter around the yard. Size-wise this particular model is a bit forgiving, as they have little or no arch support. They are literally a well-padded, foot-shaped sole, with fur-lined suede boot stitched over-top. The sole is rubbery and flexible. It is not very grippy. If you are elderly or otherwise concerned about slipping hazards, this boot might not be the best choice on a rainy day on uncertain surfaces. These boots look and feel high quality. They will keep your feet warm in the winter.

These are beautiful, high quality, and comfortable. The upper is a nice suede (though maybe a tiny bit darker than it looks in the seller’s photos), and the liner is soft and thick like rabbit fur. The tread is perfect across the bottom and the stitching is flawless. These aren't brand name, but they're everything I'd expect from one. Definitely well-made!

Okay that might be a little weird but I can't describe the sensation from the fur lining any better. It was almost a slippery feeling. I had to drag my feet to make sure I wasn't actually slipping. Great traction, by the way. I ordered a size 9 as I usually wear an 8 but have had some issue with swelling lately, or since pregnancy. I love the look and feel. It's currently hot weather where I am so I think I'll wait for more fall weather so my feet sont sweat much but as I'm always in a hurry I can see these becoming my quick pull on and out the door shoes as well. Summer be darned! The shipping was lightening quick as well.
