  • Long and tedious build. Overall nice quality
Color: White
First, the wood is a good quality. The screws and such are as well, although the screws were a little short to make this really sturdy. I know when I read reviews for this I was mainly concerned with how difficult the assembly would be. The answer to that is: difficult. I hired a licensed handy man and he and my husband assembled it together. It absolutely took two ppl to do this. It also took a good 4 hours, with no breaks. So be prepared for this to be a long assembly. That being said, the directions were clear. It’s just a lot of work. I think the house is worth the effort for quality and such, but if you don’t have someone that knows what he or she is doing to build this, you may want a different product. ... show more

  • Exactly As Pictured
Color: Natural
Box was delivered in good condition and we had zero broken pieces after I unboxed everything so that was awesome. It took me 5 ish hours to put together by myself. The only part I got help with was putting the roof on because the braces used to attach the roof panels together is kind of flimsy and the panels will come apart of you aren't careful when you lift it. I found out the hard way but luckily nothing broke when one of the panels came off when I was trying to put the roof on myself. All of the parts are labeled so that helps a lot know where everything goes. The biggest advice I'd give is to pay close to the orientation of the panels in the instructions and keep a close eye on where all the holes should be. I messed up twice and had to go back and take something apart to flip it around so the holes lined up right. Besides that it's a pretty easy and straightforward thing to put together, it's just time consuming, but the kids love it! ... show more

  • Cute little playhouse
Color: Natural
We love this little house! The natural wood finish matches our deck and it is just the right size for my little ones. It took my 5 year old and myself 2 sessions/days of 2-3 hours each to build it. I am well versed in building from pictures thanks to putting my entire apt together from ikea, so if you can follow Ikea instructions, this will be a breeze. If I didn’t have Covid and my 5 year old hadn’t demanded to help me, I probably could have built it quicker. Some of the wooden pieces weren’t labeled, so I had to take a guess at some of the building steps, but I always guessed correctly. The door and it’s hinges were the most frustrating, time consuming thing to put together. While building, some of the pieces seemed pretty wobbly, but once the roof was secured it seems sturdy enough. A couple wood pieces were chipped or warped, but not so much that it is very noticeable. I live in a very foggy neighborhood, near the beach, so we tarp it every night to protect it. I will post an update if anything changes. Not pictured because they haven’t been delivered yet are all the accessories we got to add on - little numbers to make an address, AstroTurf, outdoor carpeting, welcome mat, and lights! TLDR: single mom can built it, so you can too. Kids love it! Accessorize it to make it yours. ... show more

  • Very cute and fun!
Color: Natural
Very cute and sturdier than I thought. I bought the cover also, because we have a lot of storms. My daughter loves it. It can be frustrating to build, but it’s important to organize everything beforehand, read it through once, and then tackle it. (I’ve built several). It takes 2 people to fully put it all together. I built mine in sections, and then framed it together. A few extra corner brackets from a home store wouldn’t hurt. ... show more

  • Extra instructions in this post:
Color: Natural
Updated review: After 5 months, this playhouse is junk. I am extremely disappointed by how quickly it has deteriorated. The wood is splitting and the door which has particle board is rotting. Here are the pre-installation instructions they dont give you (authored by me): 1. Make sure to have wood glue handy. Several pieces were damaged in shipping. 2. Pay attention to screws I and M. They look nearly identical but are not...They are right next to each other too. We ended up being able to use the extra screws to finish without having to take a trip to Lowes. 3. Pine smell is strong when you open the box. If you have minor pine tree allergies, consider wearing gloves. 4. Some of the instructions are wrong! I can't remember the piece number (maybe 24??), but it is different than the picture. You'll be able to tell when you get to this step. It's a minor annoyance because you don't have the guides on the back to help you. 5. When lining up the door, make sure it is aligned at the top (not the bottom). If you align it at the bottom, the door won't open and close properly. 6. Spend the extra time and sort the pieces BEFORE you get started. They are in order 1-60. Some pieces are missing the stickers, which makes a fun puzzle... It took us, a wife and husband duo, about 4 hours to put together with kids hanging off our sides for most of the project. We weren't going for speed, so it could have been done faster. Have fun! ... show more

  • Quality
Color: White
This house is super cute, but the wood quality sucks. It is very softwood and the screws all sink very easily into the wood the roof very flimsy. The grill is super cheaply made, and the whole thing needs to be painted. A lot of the wood has cracks in it that I had to put wood filler in. And the mailbox is some foldable plastic piece that you have to figure out how to fold and put together… The windows are also thin crappy plastic. I will most definitely have to put sealant on it at least twice a year. I do not feel it is worth $350.00 I probably would have returned it, but it’s not worth the hassle trying to get it back to the Amazon. ... show more
