It is a great deal for everything you get in it. The drawers underneath are great. Some pieces kinda had to be forced together but they fit. Train magnets aren't super strong though so my daughter gets a little mad when they don't stick well..

We bought this train table 10 months ago for a Christmas present for our 3 year old. It was great until it was time to move it. Easily collapses. It was rebuilt once last spring because the screws stripped out of it. Now it’s in shambles on the floor. It really was great, the pieces and the look of it but the table itself didn’t hold up! I bought this table as a Christmas present for my son. The track and accessories are nice and has a lot of pieces that make it fun. However my son got easily frustrated when playing because the train does not smoothly glide over the track causing the different cars to fall off. The train does not easily pass through the mountain without breaking apart. We had a tough time putting the table itself together as the screw holes came stripped and the wood seems warped. But it's held up for 5 months in the living room. Today instead of lifting it I gently slid the table across the carpet to vacuum underneath and that striped corner has now completely broken off and the table is now broken and not repairable. For 200$ it was not worth the few months of play he had with it. ... show more

Easy to assemble, grandson wanted one so bad from Santa. Christmas Day this was the gift of the day. He has played with it everyday for hours. If your grandchildren like trains then this is the set. Takes up a little bit of space but we’ll worth it.

After an overwhelming search for a good train table for our almost 2 yr old (and siblings), we are so pleased with our Kidcraft purchase. Some of the previous reviews suggested issues with quality, durability, nicks to the wood table, etc.,but we found none of this to be true. The table is sturdy, easy to assemble, and even large enough to accommodate a few toddlers at a time. You will spend most of your time setting up the tracks and pieces, but none of it is difficult & the instructions make it easy. Also, the tracks work just fine with wooden Thomas trains! It's a great table for the price, plus you get the tracks and several other fun accessories to go with it (the storage bins are yet another bonus and slide under the table nicely!)
