I was soooo nervous it was not going to work due to the other reviews but thank goodness it does and it also came in a presentable box for gifting not that frustration free crap! This was for my 40lb 5 year old and it moves but very slowly lol but it was expected since it is for babies.. but she asked for it. Don’t understand bad reviews. The best toy I’ve seen in a while. My 1 and 3 year olds are enjoying train rides and even ride 2 at the time - one on the train and the other on caboose. It does come off the tracks sometimes but it’s not a big issue. Love that it has tracks like a real train. It’s also very cute and girly (got Minnie Mouse one). ... show more

I should of bought a foot-to-floor ride on for half the price because that is all this thing can be used as, & it's not even very good at that. Riding it on the tracks via battery power is a joke, it will not go AT ALL with a 35 pound toddler sitting on it & it barely crawls when run with no rider! I would of returned it but he does enjoy riding it manually sans tracks, even though it's too wide to ride like a conventional ride-on, forcing him to stand & walk while stradling it to make it go. Also, the hook that attaches the caboose to the train won't stay snapped in making said caboose as useless as the batteries & tracks (which were black, not yellow & red like those pictured). Cute train with tracks! It’s bigger than I thought it would be. It does run on batteries, so Don’t expect it to last a long time or have much juice. I gave 4 stars as your child will quickly grow out of it because it doesn’t move much as the child gets heavier. Mine is a tiny girl, so it worked well for her.
