The box hadn't even been put away before my little one was asking to take it outside. The excitement was immediate. As soon as they climbed on, they started making laps around the yard, stopping every few feet to "cut the grass" just like they see the adults do. It was one of those toys that kept them entertained a lot longer than I expected. The controls were simple enough that they figured them out pretty quickly, and after a few practice turns they were driving around with a huge grin. The speed feels appropriate for younger kids—fun without making me nervous—and the zero-turn steering makes it feel different from the typical ride-on toys. I also appreciate that it feels well made. It doesn't feel flimsy, and the battery gave us plenty of playtime before needing a recharge. If your child is always following behind someone mowing the lawn or pretending every stick is a lawn mower, this is the toy they'll probably talk about nonstop. Ordered brand new and received a box that had been opened and taped back over. Opened box and all bags had been opened and nothing was in original plastic bags. Also toy was partially assembled upon removing from box as zip ties were cut meant to hold parts in place. Assembled anyways after having to search through box to find nuts and washers.
