I bought these 6.5" speakers to replace the speakers in my 2001 jeep cherokee and they fit excellent! If you look online, you will see conflicting info about what speakers will fit in a xj cherokee. Truth us that the factor speakers have mounting holes 6" apart. So if you use a 5 1/4 " speaker, it will be almost too small, and a 6" will fit just right, especially when they different mounting hole options like these do. The base sounds excellent on these. That is the difference between these, and cheap kenwood speakers. The highs could be a little better, but I am still using the stock radio for now with no amp and I believe it will sound better once my sony head unit comes in. I highly recommend! ... show more

    • Don’t fit 2024 bronco without outer sleeve
They are loud, powerful. They can be heard clearly in my whole car. They don’t fit the 2024 ford bronco sport without a sleeve around it. Love the look and they are durable. I can hear most song well.

    • OEM style replacement quality
These are decent bang for the buck OEM style replacement speakers. The grills look great & will definitely sound better than a set of paper cones. Don't expect them to be on par with anything top$$, but if you need replacement speakers & want a little more flare.... You found it.

It's been a while since I've written a review and usually they're bad ones. This time I'm writing a stellar review for these Kickers. I have an OEM system which has sounded like garbage for some time and didn't get very loud either. I couldn't really hear my tunes while diving on the highway with the windows down because of the lack of bass and mid bass. Upon discovery, the front speaker surrounds had disintegrated! I'm on a budget so I tried the JBL CLUB6520 6.5" 300W Club Series 2-Way Coaxial Car Speaker set from Amazon. They sounded flat and tinny and so I sent them back. After four months of research and shopping I decided on these Kickers. I have never used this brand before. I installed them today. I cannot believe how spectacular they sound. I am truly floored, blown away, aghast! I still have my OEM speakers in the rear (surrounds intact) and they really, really suck compared to these. I could max out my volume on the OEM HU and the Kickers held strong while my OEMs just sounded like crap. I know OEMs aren't the absolute best, but they are tuned for the car and the sound system and they usually sound optimal with an OEM HU. The JBL Clubs did not sound better than the OEM speakers at all. When I bought these Kickers they were the same price ($45) as the JBL Club speakers. The Kickers hit the sweet spot for price and performance. I am VERY happy! I hope this review helps with someone else's decision making.     • Good sound quality, good price, very loud.
I installed these in the back doors of a 2002 Ram 1500 3rd gen. They sound absolutely amazing compared to the old stock speakers. I had to drill new holes to fit them in the truck because they are supposed to hold 5.25 inch speakers but even being over sized they fit in very well. They added the perfect piece needed to bring the kicker 6x9s I have up in the front doors fully alive. High quality speaker that should last quite a while. Don’t distort very much even at high volume and are very clear. Highly recommend. Obviously they are not a subwoofer but they do well on bass for the speaker size. After years of buying the cheap poineer door speakers from Walmart I decided to go back to my roots and actually spend a little money on kicker (which is what I used to put in every vehicle I had) but honestly they have great build quality and fitment is perfect but the sound is just okay. Really no difference from speakers half the price. It’s kicker so I’m sure they will last but for more than double the price of the other speakers in my other vehicle I did expect more ... show more
