I teach swim lessons to children aged 3-12 and love this kick board specifically for its versatility! I use it pink side up for warming up swimmers and practicing kicking and the yellow side for practicing back float. Each side has has a little cut out for where to hold hands to stay balanced for younger swimmers. I've had these boards for 13 years and they are very durable in both chlorine and salt water pools. Highly recommend!

My husband recently purchased a swim/kick board for my 6yr old daughter from Target. Sadly, when she used it, she started to sink freaking her out. Even though it was made for 'youth' it clearly wouldn't support her arms. SOOO, after extensive research, I found the American Lifetime Swimming Aid kickboard. There aren't a TON of reviews online, like there are for the major kickboard companies, and decided to give this one a try. My shipment arrived early and I received emails throughout the process from the company making sure that I received the product and that if I wasn't happy with the product at any time to let them know. My daughter used it the day after we received it and it supports her wonderfully! Yes, there are plenty of other boards out there that have a ton of more reviews, but truthfully I like this kickboard for the durability of it and love that the sides have the impressions for your hands (to guide young children). Not to mention that this is not just for children - it even supported my weight! I would buy this product again in a heartbeat!

Bought these for my daughters (50 & 70 pounds, fairly inexperienced swimmers) to replace the kid-size kickboard they had outgrown. It no longer had enough bouyancy to let them rest and catch their breath when their arms got tired swimming in the lake (supervised and attended!). Their upper bodies would sink if they rested hanging onto the board. These are full size, about what the swim team used in high school, but these are bright pink with a yellow underside. Nice texture. Arrived very fast and in good shape. Based on the size, I think they will do the trick. I’ll update my review once I have time to assess their bouyancy and durability.

Using this for lap swims and it does the trick. I haven't used it for long, and it's durable at this point. A little less sturdy than I would have wanted, but, for the money, it was a great deal. Would also be great for children, as it is very lightweight.

Smells awful. I lay it on the edge of pool when I'm doing laps and whenever I get to that end I can smell it. The water weights are the same. I was hoping in time the smell would go away...not yet. Update' Smell is gone 👍

I purchased this for my daughter to use for swim team. It is the perfect size for her (would be great for adults too.) The material isn't like the other board. She especially loves the bright pink and yellow (which make it stand out from the others too...she knows which one is hers.) I can't really rate on the durability as she has only used it for one practice...but, so far, so good.
