I got this wide view lens to use with my Swing Vision app for tennis as I play doubles and most of the time with standard x1 zoom you cannot get the entire court in focus. This has solved the problem, HOWEVER make sure you set it up correctly. Don't open the camera app and guide it on that way by looking at the camera! Sometimes I was getting blurred edges and this is because the lens wasn't perfectly centered on the camera. Sounds simple, but make sure you take both lens caps off and look through the lens itself as it is clipped to the camera and make sure it is centered. No more blurring.

I have an iPhone 12 which doesn't have a built in macro lens. Instead of spending $1000+ on a new phone, I bought this attachment instead. Paid about $25. Ordered it this morning, it arrived by 6pm. After using it muppets times, following all the instructions- it really doesn't work any better than my phone without it. Returned it. The photo attached I was able to duplicate without this lens

This doesn’t come with a lens cap for the macro lens. The wide-angle lens combines with the macro lens to protect the macro lens. However, if you’re out and about with the macro lens alone, there is no separate cap for the macro lens. I don’t want to carry around the bulky wide-angle lens to protect the macro lens.

I bought this for the macro lens only, and it works really well for that, once you get it figured out. You have to get RIGHT up on the subject for it to be clear, and I wish it didn’t distort quite so much along the outer edges, but for close up details it’s phenomenal and seems really well made. I appreciate the case that came with too. I use this for lash extensions and it’s wonderful for that purpose

To get the best out of this phone photo lens a user will really have to adjust the lens to the correct angle. Furthermore, you will have to make sure the lens on your camera is clean as well. The knobs will adjust into a clear picture, it will just take some effort. I uploaded a photo of my cell phone with the lens. I used my Kindle to snap the photo of the Detroit skyline and per the picture you can notice the clarity of the view. The view on my phone is clearer than the standard view. A carrying case with lanyard strap is included for travel purposes.
