He loves it and it's still going strong! Husband is an avid surfer and usually keeps a fin tool in his trunk. This little gadget has 5 tools: a ruler, a bottle opener, hex bit driver, cord cutter/box opener, and surf find tool. Not all of these are surf related but might be something else you have on your keychain. We don't use the ruler or cord cutter much, but it's nice to have. In this case, a bottle opener and a fin tool in the trunk are replaced on a keychain with this one tool. It seems hefty enough, we will update how it wears. This would be a great stocking stuffer or add-on gift for surfer friends!

Like most tools that Keyport makes, the surf tool is sturdy. I’m not worried about it breaking or even getting scratched. The box cutter is sharp and the bottle opener easy to use. I know the tool is designed for a surfer, but the small hex wrench and Allen key work for other purposes, too. Ultimately, it’s a lightweight, useful tool that I’m happy to keep in my edc.

I'm a fan of all things multi-tool--they're just handy to have around in a drawer when you need something quick to do a job. The small form factor allows it to fit into any drawer without taking up much space, or into any glove box or equipment pouch. Handy for its purposes, it is sturdy and well built, and should hold up for the long term.

You don't have to be a surfer to have a use for this very nice small tool... It is very good of it's kind. -1 star because it only has markings on one side and I would prefer it had them on both sides which would make the tool more flexible and this useful for some uses. What I like about this tool is that it’s so much more than bottle opener. It’s an excellent multi-tool too. Though it’s not really marketed as such, I use mine a lot for ripping open Amazon boxes. At first, I wasn’t sure if this was something I wanted to carry around all the time because I hate having an overloaded key chain. However, when I received it, I found it to be far more compact than I thought it would be. It really doesn’t take up much more room than an extra house key. The sturdy stainless construction makes the tool very practical, far more than a novelty.

This is a fantastic tool for anyone who goes to the beach. In the summers, I work on the beach, and this is in my bag every day. We use the cord cutter to cut away discarded fishing line, other trash, and things of that nature. The hex tool is perfect to remove and reattach skegs to surf and paddle boards, and the bottle opener is perfect for refreshments at the end of a long day. It's light, it's strong, and I use it all the time.

I got this to put on the boat key chain so that I always have a fin key on the boat and it performs that function perfectly. It is a very well-designed tool that is equally well-crafted. It takes up little space and adds next to no weight to the keys. The addition of the bottle opener to the key chain was purely a bonus. I will be giving these as gifts to all the surfers on my list.
