I read some of the previous reviews, the good and the bad. So my response is that as of 12/2023 I have not had any problems with the fans. I'm using them as cooling fans for CB radio equipment that I run daily. I wired them to come on when I power up my equipment and they run for hours. As far as noise level I give it a (2+) very low noise and the two of them together moves some air. So I'm giving this product 2-thumbs up.

These are smooth running, quiet fans. Low power draw - the two only pull approx 15-watts and cool my HF power amplifier well. I have them setting on the amp on my desktop and they are hardly noticed sound wise. The guard/grill is a good safety feature in case something were to fall into the blades, as the thin plastic blades on all of these type fans can break off easily. They are direct plugin, so if you need an on/off switch, you would need to wire that inline, Easy DIY fan set.

I have an executive who has a security camera server in their office. It’s a little Dell PC that they wanted to put inside of a credenza. By adding this fan, with a standard 12 VDC power supply taken off of an old computer peripheral, I was able to add cooling to the credenza and now the server runs nice and cool and it’s completely out of sight. Very happy with the quality of this fan. It is very quiet and smooth. Moved a lot of air.

I'm using these outdoors in my tiny Chicken coop, just to give a bit of extra air circulation when it gets warm. For my application they do seem to move a bit of air, though thinking I may need to add a couple more of them (I bought two pairs). They are very quiet. I can hardly tell if they're running when they're on, which is nice. My old fans were incredibly loud. They moved a lot more air though. The pair of fans only draw about 200mA with both connected, so great for sipping battery power, which is how I'm using them.
