  • Incredible keyboard for the price Incredible keyboard for the price
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
This thing is amazing. Firstly, the keys feel fantastic; they have a wonderful typing action and are not exceedingly loud (I have the brown switch version). Next, it works effortlessly on both Windows and macOS, with a fantastic switch that flips the function of the modifier keys so you can more easily access Command/ALT shortcuts based on what system you're using. It charges very quickly via the included USB-C to USB-A cable, and this also allows it to work wired if need be - a definite plus. It can pair with up to 3 Bluetooth devices, which is perfect because I have two computers I use this with, and I have zero issues with the Bluetooth function on this keyboard. They also include Windows-based keycaps if you need to change them out, plus a small key removal tool for switching out keycaps and cleaning. It's very portable which is perfect because I don't have a lot of space on my desk; this freed up a ton of space for me to use my mouse or trackpad. There's currently no app to customize the color scheme, but there are a number of presets - I was able to find a couple I liked, and I can also disable the lights altogether (except caps lock ofc) to save battery life if need be. All in all, a fantastic wireless mechanical keyboard for the price. ... show more

  • Top shelf keyboard at a shockingly low price.
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
This keyboard is not the most expensive keyboard you can get, and not the coolest keyboard you could custom build for yourself. This keyboard is not the fanciest keyboard, nor are the key caps the coolest, trendiest key caps. This keyboard is, however, an absolute pleasure to use, with every feature anyone would ever need in a keyboard. Each keystroke is a pleasure, each mellow click from my brown switches satisfying to an incredible degree. The RGB features are fantastic, minus the ability to use some kind of custom configuration software like gimmick companies like Razer offer. But honestly, this software is totally unnecessary and if you care more about having customized colors on every key, you don't care enough about the quality of the keyboard itself. Personally, I just use solid white when necessary in dark environments, but there are flashier options for all of the epic gamers out there. The form factor is perfect. Numpad? Who needs a numpad? But I do have all my function keys and arrow keys that you don't get with many 60% layouts. Ideal. More room for my mouse during game time. Many people will say the frame is thick and requires a wrist rest. This may be so for some people, but when I extend the back stands and use the keyboard at the proper angle, it doesn't feel necessary for me. Despite knowing that the Bluetooth connection absolutely must have some sort of latency, It is unnoticeable to me. For reference, I am the type of person who cannot tolerate game consoles because of painful input delay that most of my friends don't even notice. I can absolutely tell when there is any kind of noticeable latency or input delay on any controllers or keyboards. I feel ALMOST none at all with Bluetooth on this keyboard. Actually, my only criticism of this gorgeous product is the length of the cable it comes with. For those of you with your computer tower on the opposite side of your desk or on the floor, you will struggle getting it to reach. Luckily I had a spare extension cable and adapter from a wireless headset charging cable that I no longer use, and it works perfectly. Keychron gets 5 stars from me despite the short cable. ... show more

  • Almost perfect, but does not charge in Bluetooth mode Almost perfect, but does not charge in Bluetooth mode
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
Positive 1. The brown switch sounds amazing. It kind of sounds like Cherry red. You don't really feel the brown resistance unless you are typing it very slowly and softly. And I like it that way. 2. I'm glad I forked over extra $10 for the RGB. I honestly thought I wouldn't care for extra colors, but I giggle every time I look down because it's so pretty to look at. 3. The new slanted base really helps mitigate the excess height issue. I have the rear feet at the higest position setting and it feels pretty comfortable to me. I honestly don't notice the height, but your mileage may vary. The keyboard came with soft styrofoam protector, so I'm actually just using that as a cheap wrist pad. 4. The product packaging is very nice. You can tell that this is created by people who really care about industrial design and product experience. Even the new braided cable adds touch of class. 5. keys have nice matte coated surface that feels nice to touch and provides good traction. Almost like Thinkpad surface, but more smooth. 6. I haven't had issues with bluetooth connection. it switches pretty quickly. Negative I have one colossal negative, and it's almost a deal breaker. I was hoping to use this keyboard to operate two computers through bluetooth connection, but it turns out, Keychron keyboards weren't designed for that. There is a switch for Bluetooth mode and cable mode. When it's set to BT mode, it does not charge even if USB cable is connected. You need to switch to the cable mode. While charging, I can only operate the computer that it's physically connected to. If I want to operate the 2nd computer via BT, I need to change from BT to cable mode, at which point, the keyboard stops charging. Ideally, even in BT mode, I wish the keyboard would charge. I emailed their support and they confirmed that this is by design, but they may consider change in future. I doubt this is something they can change via firmware update so most likely I'm out of luck. So I'm back to using two keyboards ... show more

  • Great Keyboard & Even better price
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
I'm actually using the Keychron K2 Keyboard to review the Keychron K2, it's like Keyboardception. I opted for the PROS: Wired & Wireless Option Multi-OS toggle switch Arrow & dedicated Function keys Build quality is superb (for a plastic frame kb) Great price to value Excellent entry-level mechanical kb. Excellent back-lighting Nice long battery life on Wireless Mode CONS: Frame flex Chonky boy USB C in an awkward location Not a true USB-C to USB-C connector included The Rest: If you like G Brown Switches, this keyboard is clicky, tactile and overall a joy to use. Admittedly I use this keyboard primarily in wired mode, but I did use it in wireless mode for about 3 days after purchase and it worked very well. I noticed an ever so slight keyboard lag while on the iPad, but no lag at all on the Macbook Air 2019. This keyboard is my daily coding keyboard. While it hasn't made me a better coder like I hoped it would, it has made me fall in love again with mechanical keyboards. The biggest reason why I even purchased another mechanical keyboard is the absolute trash keyboard that comes with the Macbook. I've tested this keyboard on the PC for gaming and Macbook for coding and it worked flawlessly on both machines with a simple switch on the side. The only annoyance would be having to remove the Apple specific keys and put in the Windows one if you're swapping often. ... show more

  • Love this keyboard
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
This keyboard is amazing! I've always wanted to take the plunge into the world of mechanical keyboards, and this is the perfect entry level keyboard. The brown switches are great as they make a satisfying click when pressed down but are not audible on zoom or discord calls. The Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy for me to swap between my work computer and my personal computer, meaning I can easily use this for both work and pleasure. The wired backup means you can use this even if you don't have a Bluetooth receiver in your PC. I turned off the sleep mode feature because it was annoying to have to reconnect the Bluetooth if I stepped away from my computer for more than 10 minutes while working. Fortunately, Keychron provided a cheatsheet with some of the more useful shortcuts. I highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Best value
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
Don't hesitate to buy, this is a good quality and versatile mechanical keyboard which in my opinion is better than a lot of the big name expensive mechanical keyboard. I'm a software engineer that use MAC as primary OS. I also have a win setup on my desk. I've tried different models of Das Keyboard in the past and end up using this. Pros: 1. Great value, very solid structure for the price. 2. The switches for switching between sources and win/mac mapping is very convenient. I have a Mac + Win setup and this allows me to switch computers without switching the whole usb hub. Simply amazing. 3. Key feels great, not too clicky but provides good tactile feedback and not noisy. Mine is the brown switch so you have to decide for yourself which switch works best for you. Con: Nothings serious really. Maybe make the switch button a little bit bigger, for easier switching. I know most users won't switch them constantly, but for me it's a valid use-case. I'm now using this keyboard both for my home and work. This provides such a great value and I probably won't go back to Das or other big brand expensive keyboards for a while. ... show more

  • Was great until the bluetooth just stopped working
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
UPDATED REVIEW (12/2025) 1-Star as the Bluetooth functionality, the whole reason I got this board and not a better sounding one, has ceased to work. For some reason the "2" and not the "1" key blinks blue when trying to connect, and I think that has something to do with my Windows PC being able to "see" there's a Keychron device to connect too but fails to connect no matter what I try. Naturally, this is only a problem for my keyboard and no other bluetooth device so the culprit is pretty clear. This keyboard is fine if you only need Bluetooth connectivity for a temporary amount of time, I guess. Original Review (12/2023) I spent forever looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard with this exact key layout and landed on this one. It's kind of nuts how good this one is stock not only for sound but also build and its features (I got it for $67 on sale, at the time of writing it says it's normally listed at $72 or something). Here's a dry run: + Excellent keyboard tapping sound (Not annoying/high pitch, somewhere between "thocky" and "clicky"? My wife described it as "the sound of rolling dice". I assume mods/different keycaps can change the experience but the stock sound is quite nice to me) + Very robust lighting settings. Apart from choosing a preset color, you can pick different cool patterns or just plain backlit + You adjust the colors and patterns DIRECTLY on the keyboard using key combinations listed in the instructions, there is NO third party application junk required to download just to manage the keyboard colors (Unlike my previous Razer non mechanical keyboard) + Nice and hefty, though the heft might not make this the most ideal keyboard to travel around with, but its compact size is suuuper nice + Because I am a non Numpad scrub, this very specific key layout is extremely nice for my needs, but if you really need a Numpad or don't think you could give one up, definitely check out other layouts + I like the switch on the side for quick switch between wired connection or BT, also the BT works surprisingly well (My computer and Xbox controller don't cooperate with BT, but the keyboard instantly connected and has been more than reliable for gaming) + Charge time seems really good, I haven't let it die yet but I charge it every week/10 days or so when I remember to, and it doesn't seem to take very long (Maybe an hour or two, kind of whenever I notice the charge light is green) - The BT mode goes to "sleep" faster than I feel like it should and there's no way to adjust it. It only takes a few seconds to turn on but if you're watching longform YouTube content or something and then start typing afterwards, the "1" will blink with a blue light a few times before the keyboard automatically reconnects and then you can continue using it. I wish I could alter how long it takes before it goes to "sleep" but it hasn't affected my gaming or anything so far Overall, extremely robust and great sounding stock keyboard and, I dig not needing to download something to manage the lights/patterns and how well the wireless works (sans the "sleep" timing). ... show more

  • Amazing, versitile keyboard with great build quality
Color: Keychron Super Brown Switch
I've been using this keyboard with my iPad, my Android phone and a Windows PC for close to 2 months now. Pros: - Excellent battery life (never had a problem with the keyboard dying, use it every weekend unplugged on the couch) - Supports USB connections (I connect to the PC via usb) - Feels amazing to type on (high quality keycaps) - BT/Off/USB switch is great, easy to operate and not at all flimsy - Mac/Win layout switch is awesome and makes going from laptop to ipad trivial - RGB light control is all on keyboard, no external app required Cons (I'm really reaching to find something to complain about) - It'd be nice if there were more RGB lighting options/modes 100% strongly recommend and I'd purchase it again in a heartbeat. ... show more
