These are good reading specs. I buy +1.5 magnification and buy them by the dozen. I lose them everywhere far too frequently to invest in sturdy reading glasses. [Do they even make sturdy reading glasses?] Before I lose them, I drop ‘n crush the frames. I scrap and scratch the lenses and have even pitted them a couple times outside in blowing sand. [Cool art effect but no good for reading anymore.] I see that after a while, I twist the frame by frequently removing/replacing. They fail when the frame breaks at the top and the lens falls out. I tried glueing the frame back together but get glue all over the lens. Phoo, can’t even recycle. Other brands are similar if not identical; I wouldn’t know since to my non-discerning eye the distinguishing feature between “brands” is the color patterns of the frames. Having said all that, I still have a few of them around the house, truck, barn, camper, etc…, that are at least a year+ old. I know because they look it, though still serviceable. I've had a hard time finding 4.0 magnification glasses with hinges & longer arms. This met all my requirements. The glasses arrived quickly, are very clear & the right magnification. The longer arm is only 1" longer than regular glasses, so that is a disappointment. I wanted the type that you can hang around your neck. Thought maybe this would work, but it doesn't. But no problem as I knew the length when I ordered & took a chance. These are a real bargain & attractive. I now have plenty in case I lose one...generally I lose them IN my house, not entirely.
