It is probably great for half bath when it comes to brightness but for full bathroom I am probably going to keep my overhead bulbs. I bought this thinking it would get super bright. Lol but it is very clean and bright when upclose. So now I understand why woman like it when doing makeup. It really does give out good light when you are in front of the mirror. As for set up it is just a couple of wires and it comes with no wire nuts or caps or electrical tape. So you will need to buy the proper things and need a wire stripper etc As of now you can see in the picture I have mine wired into the above lights. Hanging it like others have said is kinda a pain to line up the 4 holes. they do give you four drywall anchors (and that’s it) and in my opinion they are too small for the weight but seem to hold it pretty good. Plus I jam some paper behind it to get it to be snug agains the wall it was pretty hard putting it on and off many times adjusting it And I just added a very thin piece of paper so not a big gap if that makes sense. And the wire on the back of the mirror is not very long :( and is coming out of the back of the mirror towards the bottom. so I just flipped mine upside down (instead of adding more wire) so unfortunately the buttons are on the top left but after thinking about it I actually thought it was a good idea so the kids can’t be messing with it lol ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It's got great brightness! It works well in my completed bathroom remodel. It has some minor imperfections inside the glass in two places...like it looks like little brown specs not noticeable to everyone unless you are meticulous. Haven't used the defroster function but I'm sure it's marvelous! ... show more

The mirror is so beautiful and bright. I used it to cover the entire bathroom wall. Contractors installed it so it was simple. I only rated it a 4 star because delivery was awful. This mirror is beautiful and looks gorgeous in our bathroom! I gave it 4 stars because of two reasons… it was very difficult to hang, it would have been nice if it came with a template. The second reason is because it is not super bright. It provides a nice soft light, but you may still need a secondary source of light for doing your makeup or anything a little more detailed like that. Otherwise it’s perfect! ... show more
