We bought the 24inch suitcase for an upcoming international trip. We tried them out on a shorter trip to Hawaii last week. They are very lightweight, and easy to maneuver, the wheels seem to work great. When packed, my bag weighed 37 pounds, and I didn't have any trouble with the handle on top or on the side. It actually fit more items than I thought it would for its size. I'm optimistic about our next trip, will update if there are any problems, but so far it seems to be a good value! UPDATE: After 14 months, the handle broke on my suitcase, the screw that holds the top piece to the retractable bars fell out. The suitcase otherwise looks great, the black plastic on the underside near the wheels came loose earlier, but no other issues and the outside is not scuffed (Thanks Delta!). I emailed customer service due to the 10 year warranty and will update any resolution. ... show more

This is a great piece of luggage. I ordered the graphite blue carry-on size and it's worked extremely well for all my trips. I went to Italy and was able to pack everything besides my suit. The full-zip/clip on each compartment ensure you belongings stay put during travel. There is additional storage with the large pockets and two smaller zipper compartments. The large pockets could be for shoes although sneakers may be tough to fit and close with your other belongings. Although it does have an expansion zipper to help create more space. The entire case is lightweight yet durable. The wheels and handle function very well in any direction. It fits in overhead bins without issue. Highly recommend this suitcase for travel. It's great for the weekend trip or the extended stay. However, anything over 4 days you may need to upgrade in size. ... show more

Not as good as my older Kenneth Cole carry-on. One of the inner buckles tore away on its first trip, and it just doesn't feel as sturdy. Not the worst though. I've checked it on at least ten flights since then and it hasn't gotten damaged from baggage handling. That already makes it better than most hard shell bags. ... show more

I was searching for a solid option that wasn't the typical boring black and flimsy set. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this KC Reaction set. -The carry on is truly compliant for airlines (I checked and double checked many options from other brands and even KC brand, and they don't always comply). -The weight is probably on the average side, but lighter than my previous SamS suitcase. -The color is attractive and stands out without drawing too much attention. One sad airline from Colombia already managed to scratch the large one, but it is still fully functional. -I like the expansion option. Adds that extra little bit that helps me not have to sit on the suitcase when trying to close it (because I always seem to over pack) -I was about to pick another option with an included number lock, but was concerned that it may break and then becomes a bit useless. So I purchased a set of small locks to go with the different sizes and am more comfortable. -This set is at a fair cost, a good value for the money without needing to splurge for fancier names. ... show more

Here’s the gist, I love them. Lots of space and the pockets make great use of the interior and allow for smarter packing. The big test was 10 days all across Europe and they held up great and I had more than enough room to go and to bring back souvenirs (I’m an over packer for sure!). I was impressed when we needed to walk about 2 miles on the the cobblestone streets and the wheels did great! Full story is that we purchased two of these before a coast to coast flight in the US. We were gone for 12 days and found that we had more than enough room. I then took the pink one for 4 more coast to coast flights and it is now pretty scratched on the outside and 1 or 2 shallow dents, but it doesn’t bother me much. It’s held up great otherwise! The green one is not nearly as scratched but hasn’t traveled as much. I would certainly buy these again. The only issue has been the scratched exterior so maybe get one of those bags that covers them for the flights? ... show more

I recently had a disheartening experience with my Kenneth Cole REACTION Renegade Luggage, which has led me to question the brand's commitment to quality and customer service. Despite its reputation and the price tag, my experience has been anything but premium. Quality and Durability: I purchased this luggage for my wife last Christmas, expecting the durability and quality that Kenneth Cole is known for. However, within just two trips, the handle on the luggage broke off. This was not due to rough handling or overuse but appears to be a clear manufacturing defect. For a product that costs around $150 and is backed by a 10-year warranty, this is unacceptable. Customer Service and Warranty Claim: When I reached out to Kenneth Cole to address this issue under the warranty, I was met with a response that was both shocking and disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility for their product, they directed me to the manufacturer, Heritage. This passing of the buck is not only frustrating but also undermines the very essence of customer trust and brand loyalty. Lack of Accountability: It is bewildering that a brand of Kenneth Cole's stature would so blatantly sidestep responsibility and leave their customers in the lurch. The warranty, it seems, is nothing more than a marketing ploy, with no real intent to honor it. This experience has left me questioning the ethics of the company and their practices in dealing with customers. Final Thoughts: To anyone considering a Kenneth Cole luggage, I would urge you to reconsider. The lack of accountability and poor customer service have completely overshadowed the aesthetic appeal of their products. Very nice piece of luggage! I was very pleasantly surprised at the nice quality considering the price I paid. The interior has so many pockets for organizing including a zippered lining for getting shoes packed away from clothing. It is quite lightweight and the zippers all work smoothly. I really like the size because it is NOT huge and will be just right for longer trips when I need to check a bag. I haven’t traveled with it yet but look forward to doing so! I don’t need it, but I am tempted to buy the matching carry-on! ... show more
