The Kenneth Cole Reaction 'Manhattan' full-grain, Colombian leather backpack is the perfect slim laptop backpack for work and travel. Holds most 16" laptops, and features a padded tablet pocket that fits most tablets with up to a 12.1” screen. Made of a full grain cowhide leather exterior and a fully lined interior. The front exterior includes a small zipper pocket, a lower easy-access zipper pocket, and a larger zip down pocket. The well-organized front main compartment features a file pocket, mesh zipper pocket, and a padded tablet pocket. The rear compartment is padded to hold a laptop, and the easy scan section includes a full-length zipper pocket, as well as two zippered accessory pockets. An additional RFID protected zippered stash pocket can be found on the interior of the lower back padding. A comfortable top handle accompanies padded backpack straps with an air flow system (AFS), and a trolley tunnel, that fits over most upright trolley handles. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: This bag comes with a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Overall Size: 16.25” H x 13” L x 7” D. This is a stunningly good backpack. I just retired the previous one after 5 years of major abuse and worldwide travel and it held up well (stitching in one corner finally failed). The leather is top quality and looks amazing even after 5 years of use. Most importantly this holds A TON. It has a zillion pockets and just a lot of capacity for chargers, toiletries, and your laptop. The little pocket on the front is brilliant for your passport and pens and USB sticks.     • Clean and stylish messenger bag - just click “Add To Cart” already!!!
Motivation: Got this because I couldn’t find a sling that was big enough for an 11” iPad Pro, but not much bigger. Look and feel: If you have a hang up about “purse-like” messenger bags, go find yourself a Timbuk2 or a sense of security. With that out of the way, the leather feels great to me, and overall the bag looks pretty premium inside and out. Taking off a star for the durability score, because the inner liner feels like it wouldn’t take as much abuse as an all nylon bag, and I’m terrified that I’ll mess up the smooth leather exterior. It’s the perfect for day trips or EDC. The strap and shoulder cushion thing are comfortable enough. You can tell that it is best worn on your right shoulder/left side, because of how the strap adjustment works out at certain lengths. Storage: This bag is extremely versatile for its size. There’s enough bigger compartments with a decent amount of interior organization. The Velcro pocket in the front section is great for my wallet (I think it’s even RFID blocking). The zip pocket in the main section is perfect for a facemask (funny that this is now a feature to look for). The magnetic closures work well unless you stuff it to the point that they can’t connect. The top flap does an ok job keeping things in if you’re in a pinch. Final tip: If you carry a bunch of small items in a single pocket (especially the back compartment), combine similar or lesser used items in ziplock baggies to keep everything from trying to pool at the bottom. ... show more

Good thing I didn't let the review discourage me. . This is very decent messenger bag for men. Having said that, I have to agree with what everyone's comments online. * This bag is "genuine leather", not "top grain". * The leather is soft, but it has a feeling of ruggedness. * Definitely not top grade leather. * Bag is big to carry tablet, sketch book and few accessories. It is not a men purse type of a bag. Instead of taking these elements as a "con", they are "pro" in my book. * If leather is too soft and oily, it is too girly for daily use. * If you are carrying a messenger size, it is more a casual look n feel anyway. * I had a top grain leather messenger bag from Tuscany leather, but I end up returning it because I cannot find enough occasions to use my bag. (If you looking for top grain leather bag, check out Tuscany leather from amazon btw...) * For a casual look, you don't want to have your bag more stylish than your clothes. * If you are going for a more serious look N feel, you shouldn't wear a big messenger bag to begin with... * As a men's bag, some amount of ruggedness enhance your masculinity. * In my opinion, this bag is good balance of soft leather and rugged texture. * It is from a good brand, Kenneth Cole Reaction, with a decent design for practical use.
