I originally ordered a white Kenmore stove, but got stainless steel, which I am okay with since my dishwasher is stainless steel. I wish I had read enough to know to order the electric plug necessary to use the stove. I let the delivery/set up men use my old plug. A couple of weeks later, when I pulled the stove out to clean, I noticed the plug had wires uncovered. I went to the electric panel and turned off the appliance's breaker. I finally have the correct plug, but will need someone that is not afraid of electricity to finish attaching it. I did get to use the stove top a couple of times and use the "bake" oven and baked some Florentine Lace cookies. I noticed I need to get use to the oven since I burned a couple of batches of cookies. Having issues with warranty registration. Half the information they ask for, their site won’t take it. For instance. I live in Georgia & their “pick your state” line wouldn’t put Georgia in. It kept putting in Idaho or Hawaii. Gave a list of products & said to pick the one I purchased. They didn’t even have the stove listed! Tried to call the 800# & nothing there either. The drawer & oven door are rather scratched up. Dents on the top edge of the drawer. With the drawer being pretty much useless anyway. It only opens half way & has to be emptied before using self-clean oven setting. Drawer is almost impossible to open/close. I’m wondering if this stove was returned & then sent to me. Also, packing was falling. This was a 175 pound stove on styrofoam with a cardboard box cover. The 2 women who delivered it wrestled it allover the place because the styrofoam kept breaking until there was hardly any left. The cardboard box on top just fell off. Seems to always have a “coating”on it. Even on the inside of the oven. Using the recommended cleaners so I’ll live with it. Bought a cover for the top to keep scratches off, that looks somewhat better. ... show more

The oven went bad after a month, the convection fan failed. That happens. But the warranty service has been really bad. They schedule repairs and give a window of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. First it took several weeks to get the first appointment, then I had to wait for parts to be shipped. Now about midday they've canceled twice on the installation of the parts. "Hello, this is Richard, your AI virtual assistant from Sears Home Services. We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have a technician available today to service your appliance. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." Each time they reschedule a week or more in the future. So I've had my range for 2 months now with it only working about the first 2 weeks. ... show more

The Kenmore range is really a great buy at Amazon. We found it to about $300 cheaper than the big box stores. You should know that the back indentation is much lower than other ranges and your plug may hinder the stove to go all the way back. You will need an electrician to lower your outlet if it is too high. When your shipment arrives make sure the delivery person keeps the range on the dolly and does not flip the range multiple times to get it to its destination. I bought this for my brother who always swore at his not so old range while cooking, about poor temp control..burned food , etc NO MORE SWEARING..he is very happy with his new kenmore range…great temperature control, cooktop cools very quickly…really nice oven features…heavy gauge stainless construction…very high quality , especially good price… Would buy again in a heartbeat ... show more

I am in love with my stove. Wedding is planned for next spring. No but seriously! This stove is amazing. I was worried about the air fry setting not being efficient but when I tell you that I air fry almost everything now, I am not exagerating! It cooks way faster on every setting then I expected. Mind you my old stove was prehistoric. Like fossil style oven! Which i was cooking with the last time i used it and the element in the oven stayed red hot 6 hours after i turned it off. It was time to get spoiled! This one does not have elements in it and has a fan that runs the whole time it is hot! If it is really hot then the fan will still be on an hour after turning it off. I also love the hot light on top. I am the type that forgets that the burner is on if its not red! Over all This stove is the best thing in my kitchen! ... show more

Was looking for an affordable professional, slide in electric range with convection oven and the almighty Air Fryer. Found exactly what we wanted for our small kitchen and talk about an upgrade! This beats our old range by far. Really like the air fryer for making burgers and lots of other yummy things. Also appreciate the Kenmore brand as it's been very reliable in the past for us, especially with appliances lasting barely 4-5 years if you're lucky these days! Also, need to use the appropriate glass/ceramic cleaner to keep the smooth cooktop clean, unscratched and shiny, but it's easy to do so no issues w/that. The only thing I'm not happy with is the price - it dropped from $1328 to $1128 just in the 2-3 weeks since we received it - a $200 difference. Great price though regardless for a great pro range.
