I recently picked up this 25 cu. ft. Kenmore refrigerator to use in my garage, and it has been a fantastic addition. Delivery and Setup The shipping process was completely seamless. It was delivered via a third-party freight company who coordinated the arrival time with me beforehand so I could be there to sign for it. It arrived incredibly well-packed but was still very easy to remove from the box and get into place. Setup was as simple as peeling off the protective film and removing the tape securing the doors and trim. Performance and Features It has a very clean look with a nice stainless steel trim, and more importantly, it cools and freezes exactly as it should. A standout feature for me is the secure-close doors—it gives a little extra peace of mind knowing the doors are firmly shut every time you close them. It includes standard, easy-to-use temperature controls so you can dial it in to your liking. It also comes with the hookup ready to go if you ever decide to add an aftermarket ice maker down the line. The Verdict Whether you need a reliable primary refrigerator for your home or a solid, spacious secondary unit for the garage, this is a great, straightforward option. This nice refrigerator/freezer has all the key features. First, it was lighter than I expected and very easy to roll the unit into position without any scuff marks or damage to floors. The front doors are a nice fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish. They are resistant and so do get fingerprints but cleanup is much easier than others I’ve had with similar finishes. The sides are a nice/complementary painted grey. The doors came with the hinges on the right side but it included hardware to swap the opening to the left. While I kept my doors as they were, the instructions to swap the hinges looked straight forward and easy to do. Both the doors seal tightly and pull open via a notch on the doors. When opened 1-2 feet, the doors want to default to a closed position, which helps keep them from accidentally being left ajar. When opened further, you can feel the hinge shift to default to staying open so you don’t have to fight with a heavy or large object while the door keeps trying to close on you. This is a nice feature. My favorite part is the amount of space in both compartments. The shelves span with width of each compartment and are easy to adjust (1 adjustable shelf in the freezer, 2 in the refrigerator). The crisper units at the bottom have adjustable humidity levers. There are 5 temperature settings which are easy to change with a simple push button. It quickly cooled down once plugged in. I use this in my garage, so I needed one designed to handle high and low ambient temperatures. I also didn’t need extra bells and whistles like an ice maker or water/ice dispenser. This is one of the biggest one door fridge I’ve ever seen, and it’s so much better and convenient than a 2 door French fridge. I think from now on I’m a 1 door fridge person for life lol . Much easier to clean than a French door and no overcomplicated control panel. Works really well and haven’t had anny issues at all with the refrigeration. It has wheels so it’s easier to move around to cleaning under it. The only issue is that sometimes I have to pay full attention when closing the door because it seems to not be self close so I have to make sure I push it in place. Overall a great fridge and I would suggest it without doubt! Really worth it and feels amazing quality! ... show more

This new refrigerator absolutely knocks it out of the park. My old one died on me (compressor failure) and the cost of parts and repair would have exceeded the cost of the fridge itself. This new one came just in time! I opened it up immediately in the garage and turned it on to get it up and running (to save my food!!). It turned on and cooled down exceptionally fast for me. The freezer is very spacious and adjustable temperature controls inside allowed me to set it just how I want it. I have a variety of foods that I freeze so this was imperative for me. A couple weeks in and things have been flawless so far for me. No freeze burn or issues with my food. I was able to store everything and then some! The refrigerator portion is awesome too. The doors allow for massive amount of storage for drinks and other sauce bottles, something I personally use very often in the California heat. There are cooling bins for fresh produce where you can control temperature and airflow in order to keep your produce fresher for much longer. Nice open shelves that are adjustable too, very nice touch. Storing a large cake or other large food items (like a watermelon) are no problem at all. Temperature has been very consistent in the time that I’ve used it. The fridge works very quietly and efficiently. I can’t hear it working at all when it’s on. The stainless steel is the best color (personal opinion) and it doesn’t pick up prints or smudges easily. I love it! Great quality appliance and I couldn’t be happier. ... show more

With a family of six, I needed a larger fridge that could accommodate our groceries. This 25-cubic-foot fridge has a large capacity with plenty of room for storage. It allows me to organize our food without it looking crowded or cluttered. My favorite part of the fridge is the glass shelves. They are sturdy and can be adjusted to fit taller items. The shelves are easy to wipe clean. The shelves on the door are big enough to hold milk jugs or juice containers. I use the smaller door bin for condiment storage and can easily find what I need. The drawers are clear, making it easy to see what's in there. The interior light is bright enough to light the interior of the fridge. The stainless steel finish is fingerprint-resistant and has a nice, modern look. I didn't notice any dents. The doors close well and appear to have a good seal. The fridge and freezer have a temperature adjustment that functions well to keep the food cold. It doesn't make noise while running.
