Amethyst is a DARK purple—it looks nothing like the picture. It’s a pretty necklace but as it is a present for my daughter and she likes light colors, this will not work. Very see through, dark purple stone. Not what I was expecting as I own another Kendra Scott amethyst necklace. It does seem authentic though, from packaging and details. Fairly identical to my other Ari necklace.
