  • Great Pump. Clearly a Performance Upgrade. Product Recommended.
Size: 10912
- Quality .. The pump's check valve is a mechanical diaphragm, not a simple rubber flap like cheaper pumps. The bottom gasket where the pump sits in the frame (saddle) is rubber and higher quality than I'm used to seeing and it made installation of the filter a breeze. Kit also included two steel band clamps, which was appreciated since the old unit was using those plastic snap clamps, (one which had failed and simply dangling on the assembly). - Results .. Car was "dry" but still started right up with a quick 50psi hit before the regulator locked 40psi in on the rail, so plenty of reserve pressure. This also meant no pressure flutter at idle like the old struggling pump had. Clearly better throttle response observed. Fuel pressure "bleed down" test with car off passed. Held 40psi...It still held above 30ps I guess about 20 minutes later because fuel pressure gauge was my last tool to put away. - Install notes .. if you use the butt splicers for the pump connector, remember you can "bench test" your work through the reader lines (full/empty) on the big main connector purple and grey (GM) with an ohm meter. (because the connected pump and reader share ground). Float arm hanging down empty will be high resistance, and up high will be low. It's a "stepped" vr so yeah the readings will flash. That does not mean intermittent connection. Hit high R empty position and low R full and you're golden. I've found it easier to route the wires before crimping so none of them can interfere with the float arm. These are all tactics to keep you from doing this stinky job twice. - General ... I do all my fuel system work outside, not in my garage. I bring out rags with me for spills, a few assorted clean bolts to plug dripping rubber fuel lines, a container for the old pump, and a dry chem extinguisher. Familiarize yourself with the job, predict what tools you will need, and do everything you can beforehand so you limit the time the fuel tank is open gassing off. This was Kemso's model 10912 for C4 LT1 Corvette. This review intended for peer information purposes only. ... show more

  • Seems decent and high quality

Installed the 13802 pump on my 2009 Yamaha Rhino 700 EFI. Overall the install went well and was ALMOST a drop in pump. During the installation, I found the factory connector worked with this new pump so I did not have to worry about any splicing on the factory harness. I did however find this new pump to be a bit shorter than the factory pump so when I went to put back together the fuel pump assembly, the pump was rather loose in the housing when using the factory rubber spacer at the bottom of the pump. The kit did include a new, much thicker spacer but it was far too thick and obstructed my ability to put one of the new strainers on. Using a razor blade I had to modify the new thicker spacer so it was a bit thinner and didn’t have rubber blocking the install of the new strainer at the bottom. Once that was done it went back together without an issue. The Rhino fired right up and seemed to be running well. Only time will tell if this pump fixed my fuel pressure issue. Will edit with an update at a later date. ... show more

  • Works as expected.

Worked like a charm, the black tube is undersized and installation is a pain in the butt. It just doesn't go in, had heat it up finally to fit it on the nozzle.
