This fuel pump set was listed as being for my 2003 Honda VTX1800S, but it doesn't work for that bike. Sure. The pump itself fit. But it didn't come with the pre-filter (aka, the sock) that I needed for my bike, despite having four different socks on the kit. And anyone who knows the first thing about changing fuel pumps will know that you HAVE TO change the sock or you will end up sucking junk from the old sock into your new pump and ruin it. ... show more

So far it's a high flow pump. The kit comes with almost everything, unfortunately on of the filters doesn't fit my vehicle. It's easy to install. Sounds loud on the initial turn on. We'll see how it last through time.

My ltr450 had a cheap 20 dollar fuel pump, I was debating if I should get a oem or aftermarket and came across this one, for the price it’s definitely a cheaper “name brand” pump so I was a little skeptical, out the package it seemed high quality and felt good and not cheap in the hand, I threw it on the bike and it fired right up no problems, only had it for 1 ride but no issues. The media could not be loaded. Filters don’t match the price. I was expecting the sock to be cheaply made or bigger netting. Quality is perfect. Yet to install but as soon as I do I will give an update on performance.
