Before installing this mirror on a boat it's necessary to assemble some parts. When I attempted to seat the ball of the stem into the socket on the back of the mirror, it would not easily do so. When I applied more force, the ball did seat but the socket cracked. I contacted the Kemimoto Customer Service Team and explained what happened. They were extremely helpful and quickly sent me a replacement mirror. I thought, perhaps there was a design flaw and feared the same thing would occur when I tried to force the ball into the socket but this time all went well. I could not expect better customer service and the mirror is now installed on my boat's windshield. ... show more

This mirror works well for me. I use it to pull a skier. I chose this because it is a small mirror with a wide view. The view is just a bit small for a skier that is cutting at the end of a long rope but I make it work.

I like the size of this mirror and the visibility it gives me behind my boat. I also use the foam from the box to store it and keep it nice. I just recreated a slot in the box to allow the bracket to slide in and the box and foam is now protecting it even assembled.

Field of vision is not as wide as expected. You still have a reasonable view of the towing rider. Extreme rope out swings hard to see. Needed an additional shim to take up space with window shield rail clamp. Some shaking of mirror due to boat ride vibration. Need to tighten up the universal hold down clamp. ... show more

Overall positive reviews enticed me to order, but a couple things were wrong. First-It was supposed to come with two pads to protect windshield but only came with one. Second-The ball socket arm would not screw into the clamp, making it useless. Returning and will try another
