- UNIVERSAL FITMENT: Supports outboard motor brands such as Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Evinrude, Honda, and Tohatsu. Specific Fitment range for outboards with single ram hydraulic tilt systems (See Fitment Guide). The intended use is to support and brace the outboard motor when trailering to prevent any unwanted motor travel up and down when trailering, This unwanted movement can put damaging pressure to the tilt and trim unit's hydraulic system and boat transom without using wedge/block support.
- EASY TO USE: No drilling or special installation required, no need to bend over or get on your knees. Eliminate metal to skeg scrapping compared to metal transom savers. Simply tilt engine up, insert high pressure wedge into Tilt Ram piston, then tilt down and you are on your way. No metal, no worries of rust or corrosion and is safe to use in both salt and freshwater applications. No need for straps, rope, bungies, skeg support, or brackets. All you need is the high pressure wedge.
- UPGRADED DESIGN/HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM: High Density EPDM rubber formula. Trial tested and constructed better by Mangrove Products. Compression testing over 2000 lbs of pressure (Updated), extended wedge length to aid in higher skeg ride height, withstand extreme hot/cold temps under compression, 10 inner notches for secure connection to tilt shaft, colored visual surface, and ergonomic design for storage in dry box. Pressure between the wedge and tilt/trim unit will not damage the wedge unit.

Quality product. I have a Mercury Verado 225XL I ordered two since I have two trim rams. My trailer configuration does not allow for a tradition transom saver These fit snug around the trim piston and the outboard is lowered onto the product. The product is made of a high quality rubber. It is very easy to install and use and easy to remove.

Much better than the standard transom saver pole I grew up using! Easy to use-I only hope when I take my boat to the shop for maintenance that I don’t forget to take it off or I promise you that the Marine Monkey’s will screw up my tilt system trying to drop the engine!

Looks and feels like a well made product. However, it doesn't stay in place on long trips. I used this product to secure a Yamaha F200 4stroke outboard while moving our boat from Northern VA to coastal SC(475+/- miles). Checked halfway during trip and seemed fine. When we arrived home I noticed the device had been wedged out of place at some point and the motor was now sitting quite a bit lower than it was before departing the gas station halfway through the trip. Can't really recommend the product for long trips, but it could possibly be decent for around town, boat ramp to home, etc
