Got this more for doing 4K/ (and experimental 8K) video recording, but, it'll also hold a full vacation of uncompressed RAWs too! In checking read/write speeds on my MacBook Pro I got 1460 mbps write/770 mbps read using a 1GB test file and 890 mbps write/750 mbps read with a 5GB test file. That said, it will easily handle anything I can throw at it using my Z8 which has a huge buffer anyway. Considering I got it at a deal on PRIME day, no complaints even if I'd paid the normal daily price for it. Well worth it and a keeper! ... show more
