The Kelty Camp Galley Deluxe is a great addition to our camping gear. It’s a quality bag with a lot of storage space and some great features. It’s made with 600D polyester which is durable and easy to clean, and uses YKK zippers so opening and closing it always feels smooth. The storage area allows for a lot of organization. There are a couple of pockets along the back, allowing you to store some of the more flat items like cutting boards, knife set, plates, etc. There are two side pouches with elastic straps to hold down additional tools or longer items you may have. And the main base of the galley is wide enough to store some of the more bulky items like a pots/pans set. Up top there are three zippered pockets, two of which have a partial mesh area which is helpful for visibility to your items. There are also side pockets on the outside of the bag that can hold something thin. The bag itself can be hung using the straps, either from a roof rack, tree branch, etc. The bottom of the bag has cord that is detachable on one side so that you can hang a roll of paper towels if you wish. It’s a quality bag that I would absolutely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I finally got a chance to use this in a real world scenario. Here's what I found... The good: This Galley Bag can hold a LOT of stuff. I put a cutting board, set of knives, collapsible collanders, measuring cup set, measuring spoons, pot holders, kitchen towels, a set of silicone cooking utensils (with their round cup organizer), can opener, cooking thermometers, a set of silicone rubber spatulas, and basic spices. Probably a few other things as well. I had almost everything I needed (except the pots and pans) to cook. When you open it up, it hangs nicely giving easy access to all of the contents. I hung it from the top bars of our pop-up canopy. It actually worked well as extra weight to help hold the canopy down when we had some fierce winds. The not quite as good: The opening of the large section has a low threshold - a little too low. I have to use the strap to hold my utensils in place or they will fall right out onto the ground. A little higher and it wouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you use the elastic strap and it should be fine. The bottom of the bag has a string that can be used to hold a roll of paper towels. It's a little awkward to set up, but then it works fine. Just beware of wind. The roll of paper towels moves so freely that wind will unravel your roll and carry it across your campsite faster than a 2-year old with a roll of toilet paper. The material is durable and weathers the elements well. The zippers are sturdy and the pockets are roomy. It's a fantastic choice and the best I've found. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this bag. It is literally a game changer. We used to keep all our cooking gear in a tote which 1. Took up a ton of space and 2. Was like a bottomless pit. This fits EVERYTHING and keeps it so organized. I know where everything is at any given moment. It is my favorite camping accessory by far. It fits 4 large plate, 4 bowls, cutting boards, utensils of all shapes and sizes, cups, a plethora of spices, large heat proof gloves, foil, non stick spray, trash bags...I'm talking EVERYTHING! With room to spare! And it saves soooo much space. Sometimes I hang it and sometimes I just lay it on a table. Either way it works perfectly. Could not recommend it enough.

My wife was kind of mad at me the other day. She thinks I spend too much money on camping, she says. So she was upset the other day because I was talking about getting a chuck box. She said, "what do you need a chuck box for? You just bought that Kelty Camp Galley Deluxe! That's got plenty of space in it for anything you could put in a chuck box." And she is pretty right too. This Kelty Galley is really spacious, and have a spot for whatever you need, including the wine you might be serving for dinner. Kelty never disappoints, there is not a product more durable, easy to use, and compact enough to fit just about anyplace.

I held off on writing a review, because I wanted to spend a few times out with it. What I like about it is the organization and space. I can carry all my camp kitchen equipment (with the exception of the stove). All my utensils are neatly organized. There is space for my pan, collapsible dish washing bucket, cutting board, coffee percolator, plates, butane bottle, cups, etc. No more packing the night before. This remains packed and I can just grab it and go. I have not used it in the open hanging position yet, but it works so much better than reusable tote bags. The only downside is the paper towel holder. I have a hard time getting the big button out of the hole, and there is no way to keep the roll from unrolling when packed away. Other than that, I am real happy with this bag. You can check out my quick review on my YouTube channel “Scott Hervieux outdoors”. And you can see me using it in my latest video “Opening Day Trout Season 2023”. I am thinking of buying the kitchen roll up version for my toiletries for my camping trips. I do not carry many toiletries when camping, but figure the extra pockets would make for great packing for other additional gear as well (headlamps. Flash lights, battery packs, batteries, tarp stakes and paradors, tent whisk broom and dust pan, etc). Again, it would be another “remains packed” and just grab and go; allowing me to get out on my adventures quicker.

We bought this camp kitchen at the beginning of camp season. It transformed our camp kitchen setup. It’s like bringing a kitchen cabinet along - especially good for tent camping. Tough build with good pockets and we like how it can be hung for easy access. I highly recommend if you will be tent camping!
