  • So far, so good
Size: 10 Color: Brindle/Redwood
I was so excited to find these on clearance (I got them for about 65% off regular price)! I tried another well-known brand of inexpensive hiking boots but they were just too bulky for my liking. These looked a little slimmer profile and I liked that they were leather so I watched them on Amazon for awhile. Once the price dropped, I got them! I've only worn them around the house but right off they seem very comfortable. I did get a half size larger than my normal size (I normally wear 9.5, I ordered 10) and I'm so glad I did. They fit great! A 9.5 would have been way too tight against the tip of my toes. I'm anxious to try these on the trail! I need to "break them in" before our 2 week hiking trip in Utah. I'll update after I've worn them more. So far I'm happy with these Keen hiking boots! ... show more

  • Great product
Size: 9 Color: Brindle/Redwood
Not a lightweight shoe but lots and lots of pluses. Did not need to be broken in, sturdy, and weatherproof as advertised.

  • Good boots
Size: 10 Color: Brindle/Redwood
I like these boots. They are well made and very comfortable. There is some rubbing on the ankle but hoping that ends when they break in. Cold weather boots.

  • I recommend the brand; great looking boots; may or may not fit the way you want them to
Size: 8.5 Color: Wine/Black
I REALLY wanted to like these. Unfortunately, they're much too tight across my forefoot. I have a pair of the original terradora line hiking shoes. I'm not sure if the fit of these changed so much or if it's just that the shape of my feet changed so much after foot surgeries about 9 months ago. Regardless whether it's only the change in my feet or also a change in the terradora line, these boots were so tight across the forefoot that I couldn't even wear them for 10 minutes, even just sitting down, so I returned them. The look and color of these is great. They're definitely not a "Keen original fit" shoe, which is specified fairly in the description. If you're looking for that original fit with a wide roomy toe box, be aware that these fit differently. If you're unsure if they'll fit you well, I advise ordering from a listing that has a free return policy. If they fit you, these are a great choice. Keen shoes are high quality and durable. My old terradora hiking shoes were great. With 5 years of frequent use, the outsole still has plenty of tread. If you've never tried Keen shoes or boots, I highly recommend the brand. If you've never tried Keen before and a pair of the non-original-fit doesn't work for you, look for some that specify "original keen fit" and try those. Keen is a brand worth trying, and worth every penny. I gave these a 3-star rating since they definitely don't work for me and do fit very differently than Keen original fit -- a good deal differently than I thought they might. I thought 3 stars a fair rating since that's in the middle. People looking for that roomy fit may not like these; people that this fit works for would have a great shoe. So I averaged my thoughts on those factors and came up with 3 stars. The color of these is so nice. I wish they had worked for me. ... show more

  • Happy toes
Size: 9 Color: Brindle/Redwood
Shoes are my nemesis. Nerve issues, a bit of arthritis, common things but made it difficult to find shoes to wear for hiking. Daughter told me about Keen as she wears the steel-toed version for work. So I tried them, went hiking in them today here in AZ and honesty... Best. Shoes. Ever. 'nuff said

  • Toes need room
Size: 8.5 Color: Brindle/Redwood
I don't think I have wide feet but maybe the tip of my big toe sticks up too much for these? Uncomfortable in the toe area. I did recently discover that mens shoes give more room in the toe area!

  • Good fit, a little rigid
Size: 6 Color: Magnet/Plaza Taupe
I have put about 20 miles on these now, and while they fit well and are waterproof, the side supports are still a little rigid and put pressure on my ankle bones in uneven terrain. They seem to be really well suited to flatter terrain where the foot is not tilted sideways. I couldn't roll my ankle in them if I tried, though, so that's a plus. ... show more
