I bought these for my trip to Africa as we were going to be in different terrain and on safari. They are great fit for those with weak ankles as they are snug around that area. Work great for general hiking if you don't want a heavy boot!

Keen waterproof women's 8 fit fine. i wore them on two short hikes total 17 miles. i'm easy on shoes. i'm older, 5'6" and 107#. this is my second pair of Keens. earlier pair were not waterproof model. have worn many pairs of Merrell as well. Hoping you can see the extra, or folded over extra liner inside one of the shoes. i marked it with a yellow pencil to help you see. quality control should have caught this issue. not sure who is the seller of these Keens'. Or, if Keens' product line ships from Keens themselves. I am not returning these and only because i put on enough miles that i would well know if there's a discomfort issue. If i ever order Keens again through Amazon, and ever have another similar issue, i will return the product. ... show more

Disappointed. I love my previous pair- ordered same brand, size, style and received pair that was half size too small. Although labeled 8.5 (my size). Shoes were also clearly “tried on” previously. Returned.

Very nice hiking shoe for old feet. The thing I like the most about keens are the rounded toebox that is very roomy. They don’t squish your toes when going down steep declines.

Probably because it’s low rise, I don’t feel my feet is well surrounded by the shoe. There is a space between my ankles and the shoes and the shoes rubbed my ankle when I hike.
