This will probably be my go-to shoe I’ll just keep buying until it’s discontinued. I’m on my feet all day at work and wear them. I wear them in the snow. I wear them summer hiking. They’ve held up well for how much I wear them going on about a year. They actually feel roomier than a lot of the “wide” fit shoes I’ve tried. The only thing is the waterproof never truly seemed waterproof, and by now is definitely worn off. But they’re great as water resistant boots.

I tried several different pairs of mid height light weight boots after having an ankle sprain and wanting extra support there. Columbia, New Balance and Xero were all not right for various reasons. These Keen boots are lightweight compared to my existing Merrell Moab boots that I love, but wanted something lighter for everyday use. I’ve always loved my Keen sandles because of their toe protection, but had never tried any of their shoes. These boots are light but very sturdy and supportive and comfortable.

I'm normally a men's size 10 shoe/boot. I had to return the size 10s and get a 10.5. I also removed the original insoles and substituted size Medium KEEN cushioned insoles for a softer feel and perfect fit in the 10.5s. These KEEN boots are lightweight, but they aren't flimsy. The upper material is synthetic, so the "feel" is different from a natural leather boot you would get from a brand like ECCO (I have worn both brands). This KEEN boot is represented as waterproof, and isn't particularly well -vented, so in my opinion it's more comfortable for the non-summer seasons. Finally, I really like the appearance... the blue, black and yellow colors stand out and the round synthetic laces are not just plain black. Other color combinations are available if you prefer a more subdued look. These KEEN boots are lightweight, sturdy and waterproof, but perhaps most enjoyable outside of the hottest months of summer and the colors really stand out for a unique appearance.

By no means am I a world class hiker, but I love it nonetheless. Living in climates that range from hot and dry, to cold and snow, with ample rain in between, I have been trying to find good hikers that a price I was comfortable with. I've tried Merrel (decent) to Solomon (not a fan) and others, but these Keen's really are the biggest bang for your hiking buck. Been in snow and mud, hot and cold in these and they have been perfect. Good solid toe and sole for terrain, good ankle form when ties to keep crud out of the boot. Waterproof, but not too hot to smother my feet. Very, very happy with these.

This is my fourth pair of Keens. I have mid Vents, low Voyagers and open leather sandals. These are my favorites. Light, waterproof, and comfortable out of the box. I walk 100 miles a month. The toebox looks smaller, but I do not feel a difference. I am a 13 D. They are as cool as my vents, but they just feel like tennis shoes. I appreciate a good shoe and these are after 20 miles. We will see.

I really like the KEEN Nxis Evo Boots and they have good support. Excellent traction and and can handle water with no problem. They felt really good on shorter hikes, but after that there was a lot of pressure from the seems on my lateral malleolus. Hiked 13 miles with 4000' total elevation gain and about mile 8, due to the seems cutting into my ankle, I was hobbling for the rest of the hike. Mainly on my left ankle. My lateral malleolus was bruised for about a month after the hike. If your ankle bone protrudes out, I would steer clear.
