This will probably be my go-to shoe I’ll just keep buying until it’s discontinued. I’m on my feet all day at work and wear them. I wear them in the snow. I wear them summer hiking. They’ve held up well for how much I wear them going on about a year. They actually feel roomier than a lot of the “wide” fit shoes I’ve tried. I have owned 2 pairs of Keen shoes/boots. I work in construction and my work boots have been some of the best boots I've owned. I just bought a pair of mid-high hikers, that are like wearing shoes. I tried several different pairs of mid height light weight boots after having an ankle sprain and wanting extra support there. Columbia, New Balance and Xero were all not right for various reasons. These Keen boots are lightweight compared to my existing Merrell Moab boots that I love, but wanted something lighter for everyday use. By no means am I a world class hiker, but I love it nonetheless. Living in climates that range from hot and dry, to cold and snow, with ample rain in between, I have been trying to find good hikers that a price I was comfortable with. I've tried Merrel (decent) to Solomon (not a fan) and others, but these Keen's really are the biggest bang for your hiking buck. Been in snow and mud, hot and cold in these and they have been perfect. Good solid toe and sole for terrain, good ankle form when ties to keep crud out of the boot. This is a fantastic all around boot/sneaker. Very comfortable right out of the box but they suck as far as being waterproof. I've had these for about 4 months now and wear them everyday at work and around the yard.

I have a wide foot and have a hard time finding boots that I can carry weight in for long periods without destroying my feet. These surprised me. They’re wide enough for my foot, are incredibly lightweight, and still hold up to the abuse of carrying very heavy loads through the woods. I’ve ordered another pair already just because I like them so much. We will have to see how they live up to long term abuse, but in the months I have owned them, I have put them through some pretty heavy use and I am truly impressed. They’re light and agile enough for quick moving activities, but I have also carried upwards of 120 lbs in them for several days without any issues. ... show more
