When I first tried them on I thought wow these are clunky and boxy and I didn't think I'd like them. I put them on the next day and snugged the strings up a lot more than I normally do and went out for a couple mile walk. Then my impression changed to wow these are really solid and durable. I think the material for the uppers starts out pretty stiff but now they've pretty much molded around my foot and I love them. They fit just right in my normal size 10 and the toe box feels just perfect - a little wider than my other boots so my toes aren't scrunched! Extremely comfortable, and the waterproofing is a nice touch. Love this boot, but here are my only critiques. Fit a bit wide, I have pretty normal width feet, and these are just a touch wide. Boots are a little on the heavier side but I attribute that to their solid construction - they are not going to randomly tear out on you. The laces are a bit slick/slippery - they like to come untied after about 40 minutes of work - So I end up double or triple knotting them to prevent that. I use these when I do my delivery job. I do a lot of walking, bit of running, jumping, whatever. These are as comfortable if not more comfortable than a lot of tennis shoes/sneakers/running shoes I've worn. They have plenty of support and do not rub my ankles raw, or at all for that matter. I wear longer socks with them for more comfort. They're breathable, flexible, and very comfortable. The first time I put them on and used them it was like there was no break-in period. It was already good to go. My only con is that on slick surfaces or wet slick surfaces, it has poor traction. I have to be careful in those moments. Overall though they're great and I'd buy more in the future ... show more

My husband has worn this boot for years so this is probably his 4th pair. I don’t think they are as well made as in the past but still seems to work better than other boots he has tried. His previous pair definitely didn’t hold up as well as they have in the past

I bought these shoes for hunting and I am really happy about how comfortable and dry my feet are. I hike 6 to 8 miles a day hunting and at the end of the day my feet don’t hurt.
