I bought my first pair of Keens in 2012. The first time I slipped into them and went for a hike, they felt as if they'd been broken-in for weeks. Since then, I've bought a pair a year. The old pair goes into dirty jobs like concrete and stone work. The new pair is for hiking and church. But . . . This latest version, the Ridge Flex, is the best so far with that bellows technology. I bought the boot in gray bc it was a lot cheaper than the other colors in my size. I suspect that the gray is not flying off the shelves and might be discontinued. So I ordered a second pair the day after the first pair of Ridge Flex arrived (yesterday). Just checked my order history. I've owned 11 pair of Keens. And believe me, they get worked out. Every single day, work, hiking, hunting. Just on a whim I bought a highly rated hike-hunt boot of a premium brand that cost three times as much. That was last fall. I still have not gotten the feeling they're broken-in. Whereas the Keens that arrived yesterday feel good on me whether I'm walking or sitting still to write this review. Enough said? ... show more

I love the boot. very comfortable. I had to get a half size small due the boot fitting big. With all other keen boots I have I wear 7.5. For this boot I had to get 7. the 7.5 was too large.

They are great. Never wet, put tons of miles on these and the worst thing is some of the tread pulled apart wich I superglued and never worried about it again. I'm a land surveyor and put about 8-10 miles a day. Thay are very comfy and seem to push me forward. I'm 8 months in still going strong

I got these boots for a hiking trip as my $300 boots started falling apart after only 150 miles over 3 years. These are much more comfortable and I could by two pair for what I paid for my supreme hiking boots. I have been wearing them every day because of the comfort. I cannot speak to the longevity as they are only three weeks old, but they seem very durable. I am pleased and would buy again. ... show more

Great boot straight out of the box, very comfortable no hassles at all in regards to comfort and grip all excellent. However ever definitely not water proof even in slightly wet grass , tried treating many times with all sorts of waterproofing products but still get wet socks , would buy again but they shouldn't advertise waterproof ... show more

Boots are really nice. Light weight and comfort. Fit to size but a bit wider than I have expected. Easy to care. Was walking 30 km only yet, so can't say how it will show on long run trip. The heel lock works great. The sole is quite slippery on wet wood and rocks. Some feeling that the insole is slightly shifted back and a small gap appears in the toe of the boot.
