Nice out of the box
Color: Forest Night/Dark Olive Size: 13
Review Image by Joe Willie Joe Willie
This is my fourth pair of Keens. I have mid Vents, low Voyagers and open leather sandals. These are my favorites. Light, waterproof, and comfortable out of the box. I walk 100 miles a month. The toebox looks smaller, but I do not feel a difference. I am a 13 D. They are as cool as my vents, but they just feel like tennis shoes. I appreciate a good shoe and these are after 20 miles. We will see. ... show more

Nice Boot Nice Price Not Wide
Color: Forest Night/Dark Olive Size: 11
I ordered a half size up and when it came it was still not big enough for a hiking sock, nor was it wide. So I sent it back and ordered another half size up. I usually wear a European 44 or a mens 10.5. In this boot I ended up keeping the mens 11.5, which is a size I have never in my life kept. But it works. The shoe is equally well constructed as other similar boots on the market which cost twice as much. Lightweight yet offers more support than trail running shoes. ... show more

Extremely comfortable and lightweight.
Color: Black/Black/Black Size: 11.5
These hiking boots were very comfortable right out of the box. They are also very lightwieght, but sturdy enough for hiking rocky trails. I am on my second pair.

Good quality shoe but fits tight
Color: Black/Red Carpet Size: 9.5
The shoe looks good and better quality, but it fits tight which is not comfortable if you have to wear it all day long.

Keen boots win
Color: Magnet/Bright Cobalt Size: 10.5
Soft and yet supportive. Great all year long. If you are going to wear a heavy sock order 1/2 larger.

Simply perfect for my hikes
Color: Merlot/Black Size: 13
By no means am I a world class hiker, but I love it nonetheless. Living in climates that range from hot and dry, to cold and snow, with ample rain in between, I have been trying to find good hikers that a price I was comfortable with. I've tried Merrel (decent) to Solomon (not a fan) and others, but these Keen's really are the biggest bang for your hiking buck. Been in snow and mud, hot and cold in these and they have been perfect. Good solid toe and sole for terrain, good ankle form when ties to keep crud out of the boot. Waterproof, but not too hot to smother my feet. Very, very happy with these. ... show more

Nice Lightweight Waterproof Boot - Lateral Malleolus Pain
Color: Black/Red Carpet Size: 10
I really like the KEEN Nxis Evo Boots and they have good support. Excellent traction and and can handle water with no problem. They felt really good on shorter hikes, but after that there was a lot of pressure from the seems on my lateral malleolus. Hiked 13 miles with 4000' total elevation gain and about mile 8, due to the seems cutting into my ankle, I was hobbling for the rest of the hike. Mainly on my left ankle. My lateral malleolus was bruised for about a month after the hike. If your ankle bone protrudes out, I would steer clear. ... show more
