  • Built to Perform – A Master Electrician’s Go-To Boot
Size: 10 Color: Bison/Brindle
As a master electrician and electrical inspector, I need footwear that’s durable, reliable, and comfortable enough to wear all day—on the job and off. The KEEN Circadia Mid Height Waterproof Boots were a wonderful buy. These boots are built strong, with obvious attention to quality and long-term wear. The waterproofing is solid, which is important for job sites that aren’t always dry or clean. The ankle support and traction are excellent—whether I’m navigating construction sites, climbing ladders, or walking long distances for inspections. And they clean up well, too. What I really appreciate is the versatile style. They don’t just work for the field—they look good enough for casual wear, and the comfort is there for long hours on your feet. It’s a boot that truly fits my lifestyle, professionally and personally. If you’re in the trades or just want a boot that holds up to real work while still looking good, I highly recommend these. ... show more

  • comfortable and waterproof
Size: 12 Color: Steel Grey/Legion Blue
Very comfortable and are truly water proof which was important for why I chose to try these boots. My wife has had Keen's and likes them and she convinced me to try these.Very good choice!

Although the sole appears to be of a more natural toe box shape, the design of the upper makes this boot fit like any other conventional boot. Even in a wide size my big toes feel crowded. The sole also feels uncomfortably hard when walking on paved surfaces. My Columbias have a softer sole and the upper is more forgiving in a wide size in my big toes. Also, after about a month of wearing, the rubber toe trim on the upper is cracking. Update: The soles are too stiff and hard to be comfortable for any type of walking including hiking on rocky terrain. The design that's meant to protect toes is what hurts my toes the most. Update: After 5 weeks of daily use, the soles are starting to separate from the upper and the front of the toe box has cracked more (looks dry rotted). I don't know if maybe I'm not heavy enough for these boots but the soles are unbearable stiff and hard. The offer no cushion effect and the thickness of the heels causes discomfort to my Achilles tendon every time my feet strike the ground. Update: After 4 months of use, the soles have separated from the upper in the toe area and the upper material in the toe area is disintegrated. ... show more

  • This is a tale of you get what you paid for…. Kind of.
Size: 11 Color: Bison/Brindle
I have always been the guy that won’t pay a higher price for some name brand if I can get away with it. For example, I bought a pair of hiking shoes from Walmart for $30. I didn’t expect much but they became my favorite shoe. When they basically started to complete fall apart I went back to Wally World and picked up a pair of boots to replace them and use them for work. I took them back the next day. I am not tough on my boots as I work security and do a lot of walking at a very large Saw Mill. Amazon, here I come. I bought two pair based on price, number of reviews and at least a 4.3 star rating. Working at a mill, I have to walk through large puddles of water many times each day so a boot has to be waterproof. I received them, tried them out and promptly returned them. Not only were they NOT waterproof, I doubt they were even water resistant. I paid about $35-$45 per pair. Since I was leaving on a trip to Ohio in a week and it was raining and cold, time was of the essence. As you all know, Amazon is flooded with knock-offs and china based made items so looking through all those boots was mind numbing. I came across these Keen boots. Now my actual review: I bought these based on three factors: name recognition, price, and reviews. Keen has always been a good brand. Surely not the best but certainly not the worst. First thing I did once I got them is added the Copper Fit Work insole. Best ever. Just saying. Walked around the house in them all day. At the end of the day, I took them off and to my surprise, no rubbing or irritation on the tops, sides, or even the heal areas of my feet. Now that I am home from Ohio, I wear them everyday. Without a doubt, these are the best boots I have owned. They are waterproof up to 2” from the ground. I didn't tempt fate and try anything deeper mostly because that’s the most I would walk thought at work. They are a bit stiff out of the box, which is to be expected, but still comfortable. One thing I will tell you is this. If you plan on wearing thick sock, boot socks, or any combination of the two, it you would do well to get a full size larger. Your toes will thank you. I hopes this review helps you in your decision making process. I rarely give any product 5 stars as that would be a perfect score and nothing man makes is perfect. These boots are really close though. Happy Hunting. ... show more

I love these boots and the brand so far. I also have the hiking shoes with similar build. Size 13 kinda wide but the regular width with these are fine. I’m heavy these are comfortable and supportive. Good value

  • This is a recreational boot better in dry climates.
Size: 13 Wide Color: Bison/Brindle
I live in the Pacific NW in a fairly rural area. I only use my boots on the property for about two hours a day when outdoors doing chores. I had earlier bought the weatherproof boots at Costco, but the soles would separate from the tops. This usually happened during the rainy season. You can see I have a lot of grass that I walk through and the grass is seasonally wet. I bought these boots and the same thing started happened. Walking in wet 2 inch high grass started to show signs of separation, which I then used super glue to stop the separation. However you can see that the material is separating. Granted if you live in an urban area and walk on sidewalks you might never have a problem, but just walking in the grass when it is wet creates enough stress to test the bonding of the uppers from the sole. Maybe, if you got some rubber cement, it might work better than super glue. It is expensive to get a good pair of boots where the uppers and lower are stitched together. I would call this more of an urban / dry climate boot. I used to work in the woods 8 - 10 hours a day, on the side of mountains, in all types of terrain and weather, I know how a good work boot holds up. This is a recreational boot better in dry climates. ... show more
