I’m in bed a lot, due to assorted health issues, including the very challenging issue of pain, everywhere, 24-7, ‘til they plant me. (Hopefully, at least 20+ years from my current 68). A vital part of handling stuff like this is having distractions at your fingertips. For me, my ever present iPads, (1 Mini & 1 Air), help immensely, every day and night. But finding something to hold a tablet, just right, on my lap, while sitting in bed . . . is an ongoing challenge. I’ve had several holders, of several styles, over the past 15 years or so. Usually it turns out to be too heavy to rest on leg muscles for very long (even a few “pillow style” holders I was sure would work. Some have turned out to be larger, more awkwardly bulky than it seemed in the photo, or according to given measurements. Mistakes happen: theirs or mine, right? Or, some holders have worked well for a bit, but in one way or another, it starts falling apart. Fortunately, I also keep rubber bands and duct tape at my fingertips, so I use a fixed up version for a while. . . . . But, not this time! Thanks KDD! I’ve had my Pillow Tablet Holder for almost a month. For me, that’s ample time judge it’s quality and potential longevity. It’s perfect. Period. First off, I loved the low price for a holder of this quality. I’m thrilled that it doesn’t weigh very much, (my legs thank you), while still being absolutely sturdy and strong. Having three wide slots to use is great, so that my tablet is always at an angle that’s perfect for me. I can binge watch for hours! Plus, I can easily access the touch screen for gaming, and play on a screen sitting at the least painful angle possible for older hands. Especially ones that love, love, love playing tower defense games! One of the most convenient features of this tablet holder, is the large pocket on the back, and the two attached pen holders, good spot to corral a stylus or two. And I constantly use the storage space behind the tablet. The surface itself of the holder is great. Easy to keep clean. A 1/2” art brush does the job. Easy! And, most conveniently, it folds up flat, about the size of a 2” binder. Easily packs into my luggage, with no worries about extra weight, for a flight to see the grandkids. It fits my tablet in case perfectly. They're out of how much I would go around it's still stays secure in the slats. Very lightweight prop it against my knees and my tummy and I don't even know it's there! I like to move around in my power chair and no matter what position I'm in I don't have to worry about the tablet falling out. It is very lightweight to where you forget you even have it on your lap or propped against your knees which I like to do. I spent a lot of time procrastinating looking at all the different ones there were on Amazon. However, this one took the cake and my humble opinion. The groove should hold the tablet are deeper and then most others and you have a lot more options for how far you want it to slant. I move around a lot in my power chair and it's so easy to adjust and reposition whenever I need to. And I can always get the perfect angle no matter how I'm sitting. I like the pocket on the back which is very wide same as the pillow holder is. Also has two slide in pen or stylus holders. Folds up nice and neat and can be put away and stored anytime. However, I doubt I'll be putting away much as it will get a lot of use now that I have something that really is functional and makes using the tablet machine no more holding it in my hands until my hands ache. ... show more

I am so pleased with this stand in that it does not tip over when reading on my IPad or a heavy book. I have arthritis in my hands and arms which makes it difficult to hold anything heavy for very long. I have used this on my counter as well as in my bed and I’m still satisfied. It works well for my phone, a magazine, a letter, or my Kindle. The inner material is lightweight and stiff, maybe a type of styrofoam. The outer material is a faux swede, definitely not soft. It is my buddy helping me to watch podcasts comfortably and hands free. It is lightweight but sturdy and the groves hold the Ipad securely at several different angles. I haven't watched TV since I got this! The last lap holder had grooves that didnt hold my ipad or pc without constant slippage, and causing it to fall off the stand. I use this ipad/phone/laptop stand many hours a day and the extra height helps me get the viewing to eye level while sitting and reading or watching videos or podcasts. Shipped super quick as well. I bought this on a whim as I thought it was a great price and if it worked?.... winner winner. I am disabled and have arthritis in my hands. Holding devices was ridiculous for me. This is perfect in so many ways. I use it for both my tablet and phone. I use while in bed, lounging and at my table. The stand is plenty large enough for my devices but compact enough that I have taken it with me on a hospital stay and on an airplane lol.
