The media could not be loaded. This review is for all those that say the globe just sits on top with out being secured. There is an “inner” portion in the lip of the base of the lamp that the glass globe has to rotate and slide on and then the bottom gets tightened up to it. It’s in the directions. Maybe it’s different for the gold but mine is very secure. Also I tightened the rod nut with a tool to get a really tight fit. Overall very nice design and I was pleasantly surprised at the expensive feel. ... show more

These are beautiful- exactly what I wanted. They’re easy to assemble, but since they’re hardwired, I had my electrician install them. The bulbs supplied are not bright, but I wouldn’t want them to be, because that would look odd with the style. I have canned lights and an overhead light for brightness when necessary. You can see the warmth and brightness level in my attached photos at different times of the day. The lights are well-made, and after two months in my house I’ve had no problems.     • Very pretty but can’t use a rechargeable bulb

The shade opening does not allow for a rechargeable bulb to be used so you must hardwire them. They were beautiful but the shade assembly wasn’t working. There’s no secure way to attach the glass shade which made me nervous. Ultimately had to return.

Very pleased with how this turned out. This is perfect for the price! We had to do a little tweaking to make sure it stayed upright. Make sure it is tight before putting on the glass or it will tip and bust. Overall, very happy!

This light is a must buy item for the look to price value. The look you get with these is a high end Crate and Barrel with a great price point. Took about 15min each to install and isn’t hard at all. The glass glove took getting used to, but it does securely go in once you figure it out.

These are beautiful! Nice quality, very classy looking. We love them. We had a little trouble installing the globes and the instructions were confusing. There's a clip piece that holds the globe in place but it's hard to access. On one of the lights this clip was actually installed upside down making it impossible to use. We had to take it apart in order to put the clip the correct way. Worth it because they look great and make a great statement though. We get compliments on them all the time. ... show more
