This is a nice anchor and it is perfectly sized for a kayak/paddleboard/small canoe (5lbs) on a calm body of water. We use it between two paddleboards when we go out fishing on quiet lakes. It holds us steady so we can relax and fish without worrying about constantly drifting. The only thing I reinforced were the knots on the carabiner and anchor itself in the line as they are slip knots. They tighten when you drop the anchor and pull in the line, but in storage or traveling or just jostling around, I gave them a zip tie neck to keep them in tact. The line is not fancy but it will do - again, calm bodies of water and small craft. I was really impressed with the padded bag it comes with, it totally keeps the anchor from banging around and is nice and sturdy. The carabiner is honestly quite a lot sturdier than I expected - I don't feel like we need to immediately replace it and I'm not concerned about it breaking. The green paint is not quite as..shimmery? as the photos show - more like a matte-ish green, but it's totally fine. This sort of thing is really a must have if you like to fish while out paddling. If you're solo on a SUP or kayak, the 3lb will probably suffice and be more compact. But given this comes with the anchor, line, carabiner, and case all ready to go, it's a solid value at under $40. You will typically pay $25-$30 just for a mushroom anchor that wont dig in as well as this one, and you'll have to put the line on yourself. This is just ready to go and we like it.

Lightweight yet sturdy, grips well yet pulls up easily, folds tight for storage and fits in the case easily - this is perfect for taking a break while kayaking. For the price, I would absolutely recommend this, my only ctritique is that I wish the color was a bit brighter and easier to see underwater.

I picked this up for our jet skis, as we are up in the mountains, and also travel around with them to different lakes, and every shore line and bottom is different. This gives us a leg up for more anchoring options when we stop to swim, eat, or play. Fits in this nice little bag which takes up less space in the frunk than one of the small fenders. Anchor feels real solid, fold out and deploys easily. Rope, buoy and caribeener are everything you need to make this thing complete and it's all right there ready to go.

Good quality boat anchor glad the fact that it’s colored bright green so you can easily see it plenty of rope nylon and also come to the carabiner so you can hook it up to your paddleboard or your kayak or even a canoe possibly if it wasn’t super humongous the fact that it has a little bag to hold everything with a drawstring is great and the fact that the anchor folds up as well and stays nice and neat with the little metal cap makes storage capacity much easier to store it, and you’re not gonna poke yourself on it because the anchors not sharp at the end like some of them are which is great good value for money one last thing it also comes with a small buoy so it would be easy to find for whatever reason if it came loose so it’ll float and the carabiner is quality which I can appreciate
