This item is well made and price efficient. It is easy to deploy. Easy to retrieve, and takes up very little space in the cockpit of my kayak. The attached buoy makes it easy to untie, if needed, and return to pick up your anchor afterward. I was fishing and hooked into a good sized fish that got tangled up in some brush. Rather than waste time trying to pull in the anchor and manage handling my fishing rod, I just untied the boat. After I retrieved the fish, I came back to the buoy, tied back on, and was ready for my next cast. Stores nicely in the storage bag after the line dries.

I used this for the first time, the rope is fairly long which is nice for how deep you are. Used it for my paddle board right out of the swim area of the beach and it stayed put.

I bought this to go along with my isup. I love that the string is yellow so it's easy to find in the water. The anchor also folds up nicely and is easily stored back in the carrying bag it came in. Highly recommend if you want something small and easy to use while out paddle boarding.
